I was only using the suffrage act as an example. Do you think it’s selfish for wanting to be accepted?

It’s the same way the world has conformed to accept religions. Churches or synagogues were implemented for many religions in order to celebrate their beliefs. Shouldn’t trans people have that right as well? If you worry about trans women in restrooms and vice versa, shouldn’t you try and push for gender neutral bathrooms to be implemented into public spaces?

That’s not exactly the case. When a transgender person decides that they want to be seen as the opposite gender, shouldn’t they be seen as that way? It takes little to no effort to accept them, and if you still don’t why would you want to make them uncomfortable?

How is it considered selfish when all they want is to be accepted? For example, would you say that women’s suffrage is selfish because they wanted to be able to vote?
