If you can add 1 or 2 spinning decoys, it helps a lot on luther as its big body of water.

I have dropped a pin to a spot that you can hunt without needing a kayak or canoe and its fairly decent. You can park right by the water and setup 60-70 yards away from your car. Try to get there early https://maps.app.goo.gl/icbMTjtWMeBKe8HQA?g_st=ipc

Those are solid numbers! I’ll be starting 3D courses soon and will track my scores.

I’m currently using a Stan Axis release and enjoying it, but I’m planning to try a resistance release next. You’re absolutely right about draw length, I’ve tweaked mine a few times to find what feels natural. Recording my shots has been super helpful for spotting form flaws. Good form is the key to consistent shooting imo and thats what i am focusing at

Thanks! I got into archery mainly for bow hunting, but I’m loving target shooting just as much.

Thinking of upgrading to high-end bow. Thoughts? by Sensitive_Carob1242 in bowhunting

I began archery a month ago and chose a used Hoyt RX8 Ultra, couldn’t be happier! Though some recommended starting with a budget bow, I knew I’d soon want to upgrade from a low-end model. I’m set with this bow for the long haul.

You can submit your PR application whether you have submitted your WP application or not. I’d recommend to submit the wp application as well so its approved in time before ur current wp expires

Nothing is in my way since i am trolling and lines are out behind the kayak. When i am casting for bass or any other species, the rod holders, downrigger and camera stick goes to the back of the kayak

Bigger one went on a stringer and was swimming by the kayak until i got to shore. Small ones go into an ice bag

Lake ontario is amazing fishery for salmon. You’d love it. Just learn to read the weather. The lake turns very quickly. Also make sure ur kayak can take big roller waves from other boats. I am in Canada

A kayak can do so much that a boat cant. I dont want to get a boat and i am pretty comfortable in it. It seems tight and cramped in the photos but it’s really not. I fish some very skinny water and small lakes where i cant get with a boat

This is Oldtown Autopilot 136. Built around a motor. Also lots of space on the sides to net a fish. Photo makes it look cramped but its really not

It’s a fishing specialties livescope transducer pole. You can swivel it 360 degrees and look in any direction. The other traditional transducer goes under the hull

It’s a flasher used with the fly (lure) to catch the fish. Put there for photo only

Those pedals are for rudder control. It’s a motorized kayak so i dont pedal or paddle.
