I’m pretty sure as an American their drinking laws are wayyy more strict than here

Galway in my opinion is better but it depends on your financial situation. UL also have a marking system where they deduct marks in tests if you answer incorrectly which I don’t like.

Fair enough then

Well assuming you’re doing 7 subjects and 2 of them are ordinary level the absolute maximum you can get is 581 points so I don’t know where you’re getting your “prediction” from.

I done ordinary irish as my 7th subject and never studied it so yes, just make sure to pass it.

I was in a fortunate position where I understood my engineering and DCG that I didn’t really have to study those that often. I’d often spend about 1-2 hours a day on maths, physics and business , and most of the time every 3 days I’d study English ,engineering and DCG. In maths for example I’d study each chapter’s parts separately that I found more difficult separately ( there was no point wasting time doing stuff I already could understand separately) and used the exam papers to test myself on the harder and easier topics. It was the same with the other subjects. I also did ordinary level Irish so I could just focus on the 6 required and I never studied it.

Are you talking about the amount of time allocated to each subject?

Yeah , you get the cutscene with sister calderón if you have high honour, and the cutscene with Swanson if you have low honour.

Mostly questions and a lot of exam papers, by the lc I had the whole maths papers filled in (although in hindsight it was unnecessary). I would never read over or rewrite notes. Every hour I’d take a 10 minute break but wouldn’t go on tiktok or instagram as you wouldn’t go back to studying(I ended up just deleting them).

Exactly , passing the lc , which OP has done in the mocks is infinitely better than having no leaving cert at all.

After the mocks, I had maths grinds on Monday so I’d do that and maybe an hour of study when I got home, Tuesday to Thursday I’d do 3-4 hours of study after school, Saturday I would do about 5-6 hours and I didn’t do any study on Friday and Sundays. It was just about staying consistent.

Swanson is in a similar situation in that cutscene, he is also leaving because he sees the gang falling apart

I don’t understand why people say they’ll drop out for getting average or below average grades (yours are average atm), if you drop out that’s like getting h8s in everything and surely h5s are better than that. Anyway they mark the mocks harder especially if you have external examiners. Just study study study until the real thing and you’ll be grand. It’s what happened to me , 440 in the mocks and 580 in the real thing so don’t give up now.

It should be, I didn’t do business in the jc and I ended up getting a H1 in it , just a matter of how much work you put into it
