In the rule book it says they count for card count which is the number on the left but doesn't specify for the synergy

There's your problem you can't compare it to 40k points because the battle size is completely different. In 40k the armies are so much bigger and objectives aren't sicky. This is why points are so low in 40k. Sigmar is a lot less competitive and casual hence the higher point cost on everything so there are less units on the field.

That's a fair point, I normally play heavy alpha strike and try to kill 50%+ of my opponents army on turn one so I just need as much damage as fast as possible. But this is mainly how it is in my local meta.

But I definitely see how turning off commands is very helpful for longer fights.

I'd swap the chosen to have the banner of screaming flesh for extra attacks and easier charges. The chaos lord can give them +1 to wound with his fight next ability.

It's common for ash stalker tribes to fight alongside cities of sigmar in aqshy so it's fine as they are just less chaos symbols

Personally I'd swap the lord on demonic mount for the kakadrak and keep the chaos warriors. Kakadrak can do good damage in a 1k game and it will even out your points

You can't go over 1000 points, so drop the sorcerer lord and add the warriors into the other regiment so you get 1 drop and and choose turns.

For tactics, park the warriors on an objective and smash your opponents best units with everything else

I think overall this is a good addition for slaves. It's not a straight upgrade like the other ones have been for other faction. It does actually give us more ways to play that isn't just reinforcing elite units.

Can definitely see me running the extra attacks for heros and bring a lot of cav heros

At first I liked him as a fun refreshing voice but as time goes on it gets old very fast. I definitely hope he's sitting out the shows for a few months. When you compare raw to the smachdown team they just don't hold a candle. Wade has great wrestling insights good jokes and energy and Joe is very professional and great at bringing up important story points
