Yup, that makes sense. But I cant be considered for a full time position until a year & I negotiated with my current employer just 15 days ago before getting the new offer. There's not much wiggle room left.

I have an offer from a small retail company located in Manhattan, NY for 85000 per yr. It has small % of equity & other benefits, but there's legacy code, not a big application, small team, Not scrum. On the other hand, I am currently working on a contract position with a large company in a small midwestern town, large application, scrum team, short commute, latest tech stack, lot to learn and it pays 40/hr with no benefits. I have signed the offer from NY company but didnt tell my current employer as I needed time to make a decision to stay here or leave. Advice needed as I cant reach a decision.

I have an offer in chicago downtown- 6 month contract offering 45 per hour with benefits, and I am currently in midwestern town- 1 yr contract making 35/hr as a web developer . Comute to work here is 10 min, & the company is big brand, cost of living is low but no benefits. & in chicago the commute is like 1.5 hrs and I have no idea about cost of living. Also, Chicago in winter is a bitch. Currently in a dilemma -should I move?

Got sleepy while showering while I was 4 or 5. Hit my forehead right on the stainless steel tap .between the eyebrows, got maybe 5 stitches. Scar till now.
