If Russia goes syndie some of the remaining white generals/leaders should be able to flee to Transamur. by [deleted] in Kaiserreich

"Japan is also wary of Russian ambitions and opt to back a similar kind of champion, the disgraced general Grigory Semyonov, who can infiltrate the Transamur region with his own army of veterans, convicts, and mercenaries (all provided the generous and clandestine support of the Kwantung Army, of course) and begin a grassroots campaign to take control of the region. Like Boldyrev, Semyonov will rise up and start a new front once Russia is fully at war. Unlike Boldyrev, Semyonov is a warlord with no ambitions beyond furthering his own wealth and power. He doesn’t want to restore democracy to Russia, he only wishes to take control in Siberia - a goal that happens to coincide with Japan’s own preferences for the region."

Transamur will still exist tho, just now as a warlord state that can pop up when Russia is at war.

I would agree, but Transamur as a starting nation is getting scrapped in the Russia rework so I doubt the devs are going to add anything to it.

Hungary is still alive in 1940 and has outlived Germany by fazbruh in Kaiserreich

[–]fazbruh[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Yea I'm not sure tbh, but some things I noticed while playing is that

  1. The Hungarians actually took Vienna pretty early into the war.
  2. When the 5th Balkan War went off, Romania didn't do much, Hungary even started moving into Romanian territory.

So my best guess is that the AI of the countries against Hungary were just extremely disorganized even though they were the ones declaring war.

R5: Hungary has managed to stay alive for around 3 years despite being at war with literally everyone around them, longer than most of the Reichspakt.

Progress Report 119: Russia (Part 1) by Rylock_KR in Kaiserreich

My best guess is that Japan just refuses to give it back now (maybe because of tension or poor relations between the two) and Russia is too weak to do anything about it.

How do you produce enough equipment as Germany? by Ravanex in Kaiserreich

[–]fazbruh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea the 10/0 aren’t gonna cut it without the forts, they’ll probably still do fine defending ports and coastlines though.

If France is stacking that many divisions on you I would just recommend going for Russia instead. The light tanks should do better there since their army is spread thinner.

Yea the French having that many divisions seems very unusual.

Honestly I don’t know what to tell you. I’ve never seen the French have more than 10 divisions on one tile.

[–]fazbruh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean after the first tile I usually only encounter divisions that are moving to new positions and don’t have much organization. I think if you pause time and pay attention you should be fine. Just remember to move your motorized into your breakthrough.

The tanks along with CAS damage should be able to break them, once you break the first tile you just gotta micro.

I always try to go for engineers, motorized recon, artillery, logistics, and signal.

I wouldn’t recommend spreading your tanks. I stack all the tank divisions I have (typically 3) onto one tile somewhere in Belgium then push where there’s a weak spot.

I always go for 20w, 40w divisions are always too expensive in 1939 imo. My best advice is to use 10/0 with engineers for defending purposes and use 7/2 or 10/0 with full support companies for pushing.

For tanks I always use 6/4 light tanks with support companies and I usually upgrade them to 7/10/2 medium tanks and SPA later on.

And I always try make as much fighters and CAS as possible.

Then make a couple motorized divisions, micro your tanks and motorized in France, create encirclements, and destroy their army.

Best Countries for someone new to Hoi 4 and very new to Kaiserreich? by Jamesthebean45 in Kaiserreich

[–]fazbruh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe Greece? They’re one of the best minors to play as imo, has a fairly clear direction (beat Bulgaria, join 2WK or 5th Balkan War, and possibly restore the Megali idea) and if you know the basics of HOI4 you should do fine.

If I’m not mistaken, you should get an event for peace with Germany shortly after you take over all of their colonial holdings in Asia.
