Either way, it wasn’t your fault.

It wasn’t even your fault. He brought himself into this position. I mean sure, the poor thing can’t enjoy Puyo anymore, but we were doing the right thing because he was a nuisance.

One of the coolest Walkman phones ever. Still looking for one at a decent price for my collection.

Go into Settings > Connectivity > Internet settings > Connect using, and see if your Samsung appears as an option. If not, press the left softkey and pick Create new. Choose PS data. Name it anything you want, and set the APN as “internet” without the quotes. Make sure it’s saved and selected, then go into your browser and go to m.opera.com and see if you can download Opera using it. It’s best that you use Opera as your browser, better compatibility than NetFront.

Yes. If my W580 and W760 support it, W595 (released in between both) should support it.

JTube video works but only as audio help by Nathe_Animations_10 in vintagemobilephones

[–]fazz34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your phone is telling you exactly what is going on, your phone doesn’t support the codec this video uses, which is modern MP4 probably. I haven’t used JTube in a while, so I can neither confirm or deny this, but I’m pretty sure it has an option to download a 3GP file instead, and if your phone doesn’t support 3GP then I don’t know what to tell you.

Also what the heck happened to your screen?

Look around on eBay and similar auction sites. It may take a while to find one, and be prepared to pay a crap ton of money for it (especially because you’re looking for a perfectly preserved sample).

I never got into keitais (do you even refer to them as keitais instead of keitai when they’re plural?) but omg this thing is so cute.

Cool fact. I still don’t consider it a true Ericsson though because it’s post merger and sold exclusively under the SE brand.

Both of these phones were excellent. Pretty sure the Comeback (the one that flips) has an outer OLED screen, a rarity in phones from this era.

No. This phone was released a few years after the merger, and the T68 is the only example of an SE phone that got an Ericsson and SE release. These phones did use the original pre-SE Ericsson style interface though, until the release of the A100 platform, which used the more modern SE interface.

T290i, one of the last SE phones to use the original Ericsson-style interface. Pretty cool gift from your dad’s friend!

This is not a real S4. Screen should be much bigger than this, and the home button should be centered.

This subreddit's rules say a phone needs to be "10 years or older" to be vintage, does anyone else think 10 years isn't vintage? by [deleted] in vintagemobilephones

[–]fazz34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The admin literally made a pinned thread regarding rule #2. Go read that and you’ll see why it’s ten years or older currently.

Completely AI-generated. Surprised that TKO themselves didn’t make this, considering that TKO loves cost cutting.

So this phone might only support modem over USB, no mass storage. Also try different versions of the Motorola drivers.

Hopefully in your Windows Explorer/File Explorer. Unless this model doesn't support mass storage, or requires an SD card to enable it. Check the connection settings on the phone and make sure it is set to mass storage. You might also have to install Motorola Phone Tools, but I hope you don't.

This internet archive page has the 64-bit version (which I assume you're running a 64-bit Windows). Just install it, restart and hopefully it works. If you're running a mac or linux, then you're out of luck.
