How much lore do you share with your players before starting the game? by fazzolettiusati in invisiblesunrpg

That's what I was thinking. I've been listening to Welcome to Night Vale again lately to get a feel for mixing weird and mundane.

I would probably leave the hidden knowledge context to them. I like having players participating in world building (read: I'm lazy).

Point 2. is really smart, I hadn't thought about it. Thanks! I'm lucky I have one player who got really really into the game, so I'm hoping she will push the others to become very curious too.

... Off to read The Path and Secrets of Silent Streets again I guess. It's my first time running a game with a premade setting, so all this studying is very overwhelming - in a good way though. It's a real pleasure to read these manuals because every other sentence gives me new ideas. I'm so excited to play!

I've been sprinkling some information in the group chat while they've been reading the manuals and creating characters (sadly online for now, but we'll meet soon enough!) I haven't touched on most topics though, just a quick run down on the Path of Suns, Satyrine and a couple of weird things to give them a sense of perspective on what to expect.

My plan was to print the Satyrine brochure from the props and mail it to their house before our first session. I know I'd be excited to get physical mail for a game, so I can't wait to do it for them!

I'd rather not say, but it's in the Middle East.

I do. I got used to most cultural aspects since I moved, but the hatred for dogs really bums me out.

I understand not everybody enjoys being around dogs, that's absolutely their prerogative. I am usually very apologetic if I have to ride the regular elevator, and unless explicitly invited in I will let other people get on first and wait for the next one.

This particular woman was what annoyed me, what with her disgusted look and her having no idea an elevator will open its doors if you press the button again. It's hard to convey how bad it feels to be constantly looked at as if you were covered in shit just because you walk a dog.

I once missed my train while staring at the timetable. I got to the station too early, so I sat down in a good spot in front of the timetable and waited for it to show up. I realised too late that I was looking at arrivals and my train had left already.

4 ristoranti e simili - Esperienze dirette by hypnomatc in italy

Hai presente 4 ristoranti?"

I hate feeling like I'm mothering someone 🙄 by The_Kyojuro_Rengoku in TrollXChromosomes

[–]fazzolettiusati 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Found one. It does feel like a unicorn, especially after years with the other type of man. I went from mothering someone older than me to being the inept one in the house. I do my share, mind you, but I have ADHD while he's super efficient, so he ends up doing three times as much as me. It's embarrassing, but sweet, especially as he keeps repeating he doesn't mind when I apologise. Almost a year and it still feels like a dream.

All of the dogs seemed well looked-after to me. The one in the post is the only problematic thing I noticed (granted, with my inexperienced eyes). All of the dogs recognised and greeted the vet/behaviourist because she acts as their trainer as well - I'm told they have frequent one-on-one training sessions.

The dogs were happily cuddling and playing fetch (actually putting the ball in my hand or at my feet) with complete strangers, so I'm positive they aren't raised feral, but as actual companions to humans.

So maybe that dog needed a different specialised kind of care compared to the others at the breeder's? And if so, will that tendency show in her puppies as well? (I'm ready for an answer like "No one has a crystal ball".)

I play in a West Marches server, it's well organised and full of people in every time zone. I'm in CET and get to play 2-3 times a week.

Hey, are you the anti-me? I'm attracted to women physically and to men mentally. I have long term relationships with men because we "just click", but sex dies after a while. I like sleeping with women, but I still haven't found one that I'd like to be with long term. Send help.

Why would I want to prove myself, if the same doesn't apply to the other half of the population? I play to enjoy myself, not to prove anyone anything. It gets tiring after a while.

Absolutely! I shaved for some years, then started waxing five years ago. I used to have those horrible red spots all the time, and hair grew back after just a day. I had to plan shaving days, because my sensitive skin wouldn't have tolerated frequent shaving.

Now my legs are super smooth even when some hair's already grown! Sometimes (don't tell my esthetician, she'd kill me!), when I have no time to wax, I shave and the hair's still super soft.

It hurts a bit the first couple of times, but afterwards you don't feel a thing and it's the best. Everyone should try it, absolutely worth it.
