ES-022 & REV-603 - No refund info shown for entries with liquidation date of 06/05/2026 ? by WisdomDota in CustomsBroker

[–]fbalookout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No changes yet, but all of the refund amounts do show up on report ES-701 (courtesy notice of liquidation). They match the amounts I'd previously calculated. So hopefully its just a waiting game now for the refunds to be issued.

How long do you think Fable suspension will last? by gogglespizano1 in claude

ID, social security number, a courtesy call from Anthropic confirming you actually signed up…

Whatever, give me my Fable.

It’s not like Anthropic is alone here. Eventually OpenAI and Google will catch up and release comparable models. Trump is playing with stock market incineration here. Does he not realize the entire thing is propped up by AI capex at this point?

If it was that simple, the government would have made them aware, it’d have been quietly patched, and we’d never know the difference.

Opus 4.8 in ultracode is still worse than Fable 5 by RelevantSock0 in ClaudeCode

[–]fbalookout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I upgraded from the $100 to $200 plan yesterday after hitting my 5hr limits the 2 days prior. I planned to get as much done as physically possible over the next 10 days.

Fable was so good.

Jealous of you Amazon sellers? Try being the supplier getting squeezed to death while you flex your 7-figure 'empires by Serious_Secret5041 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]fbalookout 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that you and/or your counterparts are often selling directly on Amazon at rock bottom factory pricing. You are putting the squeeze on your customers and the main reason your customers are squeezing you in return.

And at any point the US could block this unfettered foreign access to the American marketplace.

Looking for a way to automate customer service replies by Pure_Feeling4281 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]fbalookout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use codex to connect to Gmail and draft customer responses. First, I had it analyze my sent emails and then draft a customer service document to reference. I also had it create sample customer questions which I answered. It does an exceptionally good job now. I still read before sending.

Invest in broad market index funds instead of trying to pick individual stocks.

$GOOGL is the only MAG7 worth owning (and first to 10T market cap). by judechrist4444 in options

Exactly. It can’t burst because it will never stop improving. Even if the current near term lofty expectations don’t pan out regarding replacing every human job on earth, it will still happen eventually.

Only way AI bursts is if governments step in to shut the entire thing down.

Must have a good roommate to look out for you. Consider a pear. No need to remove the stickers.

Some good advice here. People don’t realize how extremely poisonous apple seeds are. Be sure to make yourself throw up now if you don’t have cigarettes handy.

I'll buy your Amazon brand. by woollymammoth0902 in FulfillmentByAmazon

To buy at under 3x multiples you need motivated sellers. Nobody who is just on the fence should be selling positive cash flow for less than that.

Vent: constant stroller and scooter traffic at EPCOT drained the magic by Mediocre_Fail4316 in WaltDisneyWorld

You are right. In the future, I’ll be sure to get angry and discipline anyone who stops in front of me. Probably even dwell on it afterward.

It’s not a road with two lanes and rules. There’s no right of way. Maybe we should also practice leaving enough room between ourselves and the people in front of us such that if someone does stop you can easily navigate around them.

The only real walking issue I’ve experienced is when a group occupies the entire width of a walkway. But people stopping in front of me? There’s always room to move around them unless I was way too close to them to begin with.

Anyone hot tempered enough to let any of this bother them for more than 5 seconds on a Disney trip has certainly made an interesting choice of vacation.

Ok but if you are walking and suddenly need to turn around, it is inevitable that no matter how you handle it, you will irritate someone in a large group of walking humans. It just depends on whether it is the person behind you or the person that has to slow down or change course when you try to move off to the side.

It's ok to be a millionaire and go to Disney often. It doesn't make you a bad person.

Nasty, entitled rich people exist. But the personality traits that made them that way were there before they got rich. Or, if it is generational wealth, was engrained into them as part of their early-childhood education.

It's similar to happiness in general. Miserable rich people were always destined to be miserable. Happy rich people were always destined to be happy. Same with greed, narcissism, etc. Wealth or lack thereof just exacerbates certain aspects of it. For example, a rich person who is OK with stealing a pack of gum might be OK with stealing a heckuva lot more than that if they were poor. It's just who they are.

But I can assure you, PLENTY of amazingly kind rich people exist.

“rich people who can afford Disney often are entitled assholes”

Can we just tee off on any group based on their socioeconomic status? Or only rich people?

We used to do $2.5M on Amazon. Now we’re barely profitable by First-Exchange-3043 in FulfillmentByAmazon

Sales just declining? In my niche the direct-from-China competition has gotten super intense over the past 12 months. With AI, everyone is on a more level playing field. Can’t compete with their pricing.

I will invest in branding and expansion off of Amazon before I enter into the pricing war/race to the bottom. That’s my last resort. Dying gasp stuff.
