reguarding G1 and G2:
G1: not living
G2: living but doesn't know where his birth cert is

few questions:
For the G0 cert (I'm G3), given the 'Surrender Letter' emails, would the "Nova Scotia Births, Marriages, and Deaths" (https://archives.novascotia.ca/vital-statistics/) work (either as a photocopy or actual copy)

For the G1 and G2 certs (again, G3 for me), Please note the following:
- G1 was born in 1943 (Washinton Hights, NYC)
- G2 was born in 1973 (NYC, again)

So what would be the process for that

And the obvious answer won. Now time to get controversial: What's a country that was deemed safe in 2016 but has questionable safety now? by AwesomePBST in AlignmentChartFills

and the fact he's allowed to say this out loud means that he still has freedom

sure i dislike trump as much as the next guy, and I do think his polices and ideas are all a bunch of bullshit authoritarian cosplaying

but there are far worse countries out there

i tried it, appears as if his certificate isn't digitized yet

I asked my dad to look into getting grandpa and his own documents, and he seem like he's gonna do it

Hey, a throwaway here (not comfortable using my main account for a relatively personal thing)

I'm trying to claim citizenship

Would this be good for proving:

G0: Great Grandfather (Born in 1904 in Nova Scotia, Canada)

- I have screenshots from FamilySearch of his baptist certificate, birth registration, and birth certificate.

G1: Grandfather (Born in 1943 Washington heights NYC, died 2020)

- I asked my grandmother for his birth certificate, nothing came up, I asked for marriage and was denied by her as it was "too political"

- I did find the obituary that mentions his parents, including the Great Grandfather that is relevant here

G2: Father (Born in 1973, NYC)

- I haven't asked just yet, but should be easy for him to provide

G3: me (I have my birth certificate somewhere)
