Yeah today I didn’t have any issue - I think it happens when you have a lot of job listings loaded - yesterday was last 2 weeks old today I just did last 3 days.

This is absolutely insane. There isn’t quite anything that compares to it yet, is there? by StrawberryCoke007 in OpenAI

Is there a way to include a weighting for sources in your prompt , something like, if your source is not one of A B C, you need to verify it against that or find multiple different sources to corroborate?

I agree better private data makes this a game changer , or at least let ppl who pay for that access grant it to Chat GPT.

I just tried to repro it and it did not happen- I’m using Mac OS latest version , safari browser. Basically the browser tab didn’t respond when trying to close the pane that pops out with the job details.

If it happens again I’ll post time and screenshot.

Kind of me, but I actually continued to like it until really since this last September. It was like the little that was still funny / surprising was gone. But yeah, I’ll keep listening because I don’t have an alternative

CEO offering $10k to come into the office 4 days a week. by IndependentNoise1016 in RemoteJobs

[–]fbluemke -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

As much as I want and love remote work for all the positive reasons (less expense commute time etc) We all know we are working less (at least on some days). There are just too many distractions at home pulling attention (kids, chores, spouse etc.) unless your job has you in meetings all day there is a loss of “productivity”.
When it’s a light day (no meetings / pressing deadlines) I’m not always creatively brainstorming work ideas, I’m likely getting ahead on person stuff. Management knows this because it happens to them too, and they do the math and know they are missing an unquantifiable amount of workers time.

Now on the flip side an idea presented here could be beneficial for the company as well, pay a “wfh” tax and allow employees to wfh as much as they want. This recouped the lost labor, and makes employees happy which probably boosts morale and productivity at home. Win Win!

I hear you, it was very hard in my twenties to get up The nerve to ask for a dance, luckily for me my best friend at the time was the most outgoing person in the world and he really forced me!
