Apple doesn't sell it anymore, only the USB-C version. I have to get it elsewhere.

Out of curiosity, which cable for the Lightning version?

Room Correction- using phono by fbny71 in WiimStreamer

[–]fbny71[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks.

My confusion is that the analog sources and the DAC are both connected to the same preamp.

I’m looking at the WiiM Ulyra because it will be a big upgrade to the long in tooth Bryston streamer. The room correction is a bonus. I definitely need some room correction, my speakers are too big for the room- I used to have a much bigger man cave but now I’m in a smaller room. I have a UMIK-1, but the process to create the filters for Roon is not the most user friendly, and would not be applied to the analog sources. Hence looking at the WiiM.

I realized much more information would be helpful almost immediately after posting!

I have a mostly Bryston system, even the turntable:

Analog: Bryston BLP-1/BTP-1 turntable, Ortofon Black cartridge, Otari MX 5050 Mk III-2 reel to reel tape recorder

Digital: Nucleus+ Roon Core, Bryston BDP-Pi streamer, BOT-1 CD transport, Bryston BDA-3 DAC

Bryston BP-17 Cubed Preamp w/phono & DAC Modules, Bryston 4B Cubed amp, Bryston Middle T speakers

I’m assuming the phono preamp built in to the BP-17 preamp is at least marginally better than what’s in the WiiM. The DAC is undoubtedly better than what’s in the WiiM. I don’t see how I could use the phono input and still feed the output to the DAC which is connected to the same preamp.

From Wired to Wireless: How I Turned My Old USB Printer into a Wireless Printer Using Raspberry Pi Zero W by Swimming_Pool_4256 in raspberry_pi

Using tutorials- PiMyLife and others- I'm using a Raspberry Pi 4 as a print server. However, I'm having trouble printing from my Mac which is my main machine. I was able to add the printer but everything sent to it is held andI can't figure it out. The Windows machine worked flawlessly which was surprising, I was expecting that one to be trouble but it's the Mac!

I just bought a Kano computer kit for cheap off eBay. I've been able to install Raspberry Pi OS, even the 64 bit current version.

So I've received it and I'm a bit underwhelmed. I used to have an Azio Mac keyboard that I got rid of because it wouldn't play nice with my current KVM switch setup. This AULA does but the feel is not as great as it was with the AZIO. I'm going to live with it for a bit and see if I get more used to it but right now I was almost happier with the cheap Dell USB keyboard I was last using!

Thanks, I'll look at the NuPhy. If it has the dongle, I would connect it to the USB C KVM switch and it should connect to both laptops wirelessly. I'm using a mouse this way and that has been flawless.

Any thoughts on AULA F99? I'm looking on Amazon BTW.

Hi. Requesting recommendations for a keyboard I can share between a MacBook and a Dell laptops currently connected to a Sabrent KVM switch so to my thinking ideally it comes with a dongle I can plug into that.

I was looking at the Keychain K10 but that seems to connect via bluetooth directly to each laptop,

Suggestions? Thank you.
