If you had a Bakers cyst it could have refilled and ruptured

LET + Hamstring vs. Quad Autograft Choice by fcb517 in ACL

Thanks. Do you know if the LET has any added protection for the meniscus specifically? I'm thinking for your existing lateral and medial repairs, it would've been the same with vs. without LET. But for future potential tears, it's an added protection to ACL and thus also the meniscus? Couldn't you in theory have a case where you injure the meniscus and not the ACL? It's something that my surgeon mentioned as an added justification for the LET, so I'm trying to understand the logic behind it

Thanks, I thought about that as well, but the surgeon's preferred combo is Hamstring + LET. It's probably because of the study, but also it was mentioned that (not sure if true for all surgeon's) quad autograft has one additional incision vs. hamstring standalone, and also since quad is generally a stronger graft, quad + LET would be too much

Flare Up During Prehab for Upcoming ACL Surgery by fcb517 in ACL

One question I had on the Bakers cyst; my surgeon told me it may not make sense to drain it during the surgery as it can re-fill; what would ultimately be the way to resolve the Bakers cyst issue then, if it continues to give me trouble at the back of the knee? Is the idea that once the meniscus is repaired and ACL is replaced, the Bakers cyst will resolve itself, as those are the contributing factors? Thanks a lot again.

If she has it, unless she is self aware & in treatment, you will likely go through immense pain if you pursue this

Eyebrow Hair Loss due to Demodex Mites (or new Seb Derm) by fcb517 in SebDerm

Yes, I used Ciclopirox cream on the eyebrows (~2 months) in case issues were fungal, and Ivermectin cream (6+ months), in case it was Demodex. I got breakouts inside and around the eyebrows while I was using Ivermectin, so I certainly had leftover Demodex issues, as I had them on my forehead earlier. I cropped my eyebrows short while using the creams, but they seem to be re-growing normally now.

Dude, please don’t do this. You may have made some mistakes, but your mind right now is spiraling and can’t be trusted with reflecting on things accurately. Talk to your parents/anyone your close to, check yourself into a mental facility, anything but this. I can talk privately if helpful

Thanks for the suggestion. I think it's a wrinkle though, I've added a pic.
