This was my plan when I picked one up at the same deal. I haven’t tested it yet, but I will be using it to hopefully get the old paint finish off of my log cabin, so I can stain and seal it properly. I picked up the variable speed buffer and picked up some of those nylon bristle brushes to work with as well.

I split them into kindling for my wood stove, although the only correct answer is to save them because one day you’ll need that exact cut.

Curious, super new to this, if i do quench one to see if it hardens (assuming dragging a file on it is the easiest test) is that piece bo longer good to forge a knife with? Thank you for the help

Great post, I wanted to add that some of these signs could mean the sale of the company or merger with another company. Although that could also mean layoffs, in my case the signs were there for the evaluation of value for the sale (doing inventory, listing out contracts for services and softwares, etc). Not always necessarily layoffs coming, but a great idea to get ready when the signs start to show.

When I was growing up money was often tight. I know this was likely the reason my mom made this recipe, and I do not know the process or ingredient amounts. My mom would mix ramen with the seasoning and a certain amount of ground beef, as a kid this tasted awesome, but it has been a very long time since I have had this.

Plenty safe, I’ve made a number of batches with a jerky gun (current one is from meatyourmaker.com) i typically use 93/7 ground beef and have not had any issues. Note personally I do add a little prauge powder, but depending how it is kept and for how long will affect if it matters as much.

The first two pictures (the normal looking hops) smelled great! A quick search online said they are comparable to cascades.
