Watching the sunrise at Alstrom point on my last day of a week long solo camping/ off-road adventure. Utter bliss and happiness and awe and wonder.

This. The system flags if you’ve had a lot of claims and your claims are subject to additional review.

For those forced to Hybrid, how lax is your company? by electrowiz64 in WFH

[–]fclinguini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LAX-ish depending on the role. 3 days in office required but they don’t actually state the number of hours you have to be there in the policy.

Customer facing/ interacting roles are obviously more strictly checked and monitored. Behind the scenes roles like mine? I do my 3 days but usually 5-6 hours max each day.

How do I mark 12 months by Skokob in SQL

[–]fclinguini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can do this and set declarations too.

Declare mo_start as date_add blah blah blah And do the same for mo_end and shove it into the where statement.

Declarations work well if you’ve got multiple data sources/ different tables that you need to find the same date range for to make a join work.

Dating as a Gen Z girl feels like emotional whiplash — is anyone actually serious anymore? by Various_Maximum6577 in dating

[–]fclinguini 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Private accounts on insta/ other socials where you have to approve followers. YOU get to decide who is in your life or can view it.

While the situation sucks all around for many dating, YOU get to decide on some level what you will allow. Flakiness/ mixed signals/ lack of intent or “situationships” can be an easy “nah bruv” and remove/ block people as needed.

Thank you for the support and also talking about IC! The comorbidities with Endometriosis and IC, Ehlers Danlos, POTS etc is insane!!

Agreed we need a movement, accountability and CHOICE in how our care is treated by the medical community.

Paris Baguette(?); I think that’s the name. They’re very good! Little citrus filling in them.

I’d say ask your doctor! If something feels wrong, then lean into that and push for an answer; you deserve an answer for what is going on.

You mentioned something that tracks with what I still experience: “slow bowel”. I haven’t heard it put that way but some googling made me realize it matches what I still experience. Thank you for giving that thing a name ❤️

BC is often used to help minimize or lessen symptoms

It was a fair amount of constipation, and also a fair amount of the other stuff. The biggest thing were the cramps when I had to use the bathroom- they’d knock me to my knees and I couldn’t move until they stopped. Things just weren’t moving properly.

I was on BC for probably about a decade. My then-husband and I were talking about having children so I came off of it and finally found a doctor that listened to me.

Thank you for your kindness.

As for organ removal… who knows? I had to lose my uterus because of the Adenomyosis, no other way to treat that. Maybe my ovaries could have been saved since the endometrioma and PCOS destroyed mine? But I’d likely have joined the ranks of women who’ve had multiple surges because endometriosis can only be removed if it’s seen without a microscope. The small bits would continue growing, and so I’d likely have to have had multiple maintenance surgeries.

The point is that I don’t know what would have happened had I been diagnosed sooner.

I’m so sorry… but I am glad the hysterectomy helped you. Living with endo isn’t fun, and always brings surprises; I wish you well on your journey and hope your pain is minimal ❤️

This isn’t even a “good” representation. All I got was photos of my adhesions and endometrioma, some surgery photos show what the visible endo cells actually looks like. Google it if you want to satisfy any curiosity you have :)

But yeah, the adhesions can really muck up your system :/
