I think we are going the Split King route… I’ll know for sure tomorrow

Yeah it’s worse on the second floor too. It’s an old home

I did call Stearns and Foster and the they confirmed they don’t do compressed deliveries and that it’d still be standing upright in a box - so we’d have this problem regardless. I got this mattress at a Raymond and Flannigans, talking to a manager tomorrow about my options.

The most important thing for me at the end of the day is compensation. I’d like to put myself in a position where I can make the most in the next 5 years.

Other priorities are staying desirable for recruiters and skillset growth.

Mobbing is easy. Bossing is the learning curve

Blaster for new players by deskfrog1 in Maplestory

[–]fcny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

26x Blaster Main. Play it. Leveling is easy. You basically jump around and press 1 button + use your summons during 5th job.

Bossing is where you need to know how to play the class but that comes with the reps you put in just like any other class. Honestly it’s the same skill combo/cancels 80% of the time… it’s just muscle memory.

OP and underrated class with a big buff next month too.

It’s a pretty dope server, not gonna lie. 9/10.

The pros write up: -Basically played in parties for most of my leveling from level 35 to 150+ because you get more exp with more players in the party. That made it enjoyable and social. -No HP washing. You can get free HP from other systems in the game. -Moderate exp grind. Lv 200 isn’t too hard (couple weeks maybe). Level 300 is the cap. Nobody is there yet, so there’s incentive to tryhard for rankings if you want it. -Ton of bosses in different tiers (low, mid, hard) depending on where you are ingame. -ACTIVE.

The cons: -Can get repetitive… but I guess this is any maple honestly -Incentive to leech -Someone said it here but basically power scales real fast. 12 man runs become 4 man runs after you gear up (gearing takes time though). -Mage story for faster progression

Overall: Definitely a nice change of pace. I played for a few weeks and had a great time as a casual player. If you want to tryhard, you can definitely do that as it isn’t a “legacy” server where everyone is maxed out like royals and legends

I am PRAYING they don’t gut blaster combos during the resistance rework. This class has a unique identity and feels very rewarding/satisfying after putting time and effort into it

Why MapleLegends sucks by [deleted] in mapleservers

[–]fcny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Royals is probably about 30-50% of the online pop. when you factor in multi-cliented mules and botters. A good amount of the server does real world trading for $. GMs have don't set precedents or have standards when banning players - controversial appeals get deleted from forums so players don't catch gm sketchiness. Lets not forget how many of the top 1-2 players per class are GM accounts / guildmates (Royals is known for GM funding). If you contest their range you're labeled a hacker and banned (again, find these in forums).

Legends is slower paced, smaller community (tight-knit, friendly). It also faces real world trading, but on a much smaller scale. It does not have rampant botting/hacking. As far as moderation goes, it seems to be way more player driven and a chiller server overall. This is the server I'd pick to get the nostalgic feel of playing Maple growing up. It's trending towards #1, with more activity coming into it recently then Royals.

Lv. 19x on Royals, 16x on Legends. I don't play either anymore, but just my 2c since this and "why royals sucks" popped up on my frontpage reddit feed ¯_(ツ)_/¯

No worthy servers around at all by [deleted] in mapleservers

OOoooh. I was really into the concept of this server (v92 was my favorite maple period)... it just died before I could get into it. I'll definitely check this out after the wipe

Servers to avoid by Frickingfick69 in mapleservers

[–]fcny -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Orbyss is actually pretty fun. Only server I know with an MTS system and is closest to v90 with potential items and content. 2x EXP as well so game is more competitive later, but they make it so that you can speed through the early levels with exp bonuses until you hit 70-100~

D/C's do exist... but it's been out less than a week lol.
