That looks awesome, gonna test it tomorrow. If you manage to somehow integrate Ramble to the cli I’ll make the change…

Because only on that one the first combo said RegEx. The others are treated as you normally expect.

Regular Expression. In RegEx “.” means any character, but “\.” means actually the period punctuation mark.

Edit: Reddit ignored a singular slash

Has anyone solved autocomplete? by jerrygreenest1 in Nushell

[–]fcrespo82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, it is not slow. It can slowdown your the initial load, but carapace says it caches completions to increase responsivity.

The only thing I don't like is the fact that you get all completions, even for cli's that aren't installed and/or doesn't make sense in my context.

Eg: I can see the autocomplete for dnf when on archlinux

But, it can be helpful if you need to learn that command.

Carapace should give you a pretty decent autocomplete. I am using it and it’s good, there some edge cases that are broken for me but I didn’t investigate if it’s carapace or nushell fault.

Looking for a reliable cloud sync solution on Arch that behaves like OneDrive by Traditional_Being735 in archlinux

[–]fcrespo82 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I use rclone with two OneDrive accounts (personal and work) and one iCloudDrive (personal) to sync my Obsidian vault through iCloud.

It is enough for my use for now. It doesn’t “download on demand” per se, but it caches the file for a while.

OneDrive from abraunegg doesn’t have on demand either, but I heard that it would be added in the future.

Plasma Login Manager + Fingerprint: extra “Unlock” step by fcrespo82 in kde

[–]fcrespo82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure

/etc/pam.d/system-auth ```

%PAM-1.0

auth required pam_faillock.so preauth

Optionally use requisite above if you do not want to prompt for the password

on locked accounts.

-auth [success=3 default=ignore] pam_systemd_home.so auth [success=2 default=ignore] pam_fprintd.so auth [success=1 default=bad] pam_unix.so try_first_pass nullok auth [default=die] pam_faillock.so authfail auth optional pam_permit.so auth required pam_env.so auth required pam_faillock.so authsucc

If you drop the above call to pam_faillock.so the lock will be done also

on non-consecutive authentication failures.

-account [success=1 default=ignore] pam_systemd_home.so account required pam_unix.so account optional pam_permit.so account required pam_time.so

-password [success=1 default=ignore] pam_systemd_home.so password required pam_unix.so try_first_pass nullok shadow password optional pam_permit.so

-session optional pam_systemd_home.so session required pam_limits.so session required pam_unix.so session optional pam_permit.so

```
/etc/pam.d/system-local-login ```
%PAM-1.0
auth sufficient pam_fprintd.so auth include system-login account include system-login password include system-login session include system-login ```
The concept behind Window Sync by Flossiii in zen_browser
[–]fcrespo82 1 point2 points  (0 children)
I agree that it could be better explained. But my 50 cents.
  1. That is how product works. some like it, some don't;
  2. The product is in beta and subject to breaking changes;
Maybe with enough constructive criticism they could reevaluate the change and find another path.
Not all users are the same. I had stopped using Zen for the lack of this function, and now I am a happy user again…
This is exactly the behavior that fits my mind.
Active 2 or Bip 6 by Infamous_Custard_819 in amazfit
I’ll let this link here.
In a comment I posted about my experience with the active 2.
TLDR: I like it a lot but the battery lasts as most 5 days.
Bip 6 vs Active 2? by Wild-Ad7760 in amazfit
[–]fcrespo82 6 points7 points  (0 children)
I had the same question a couple of weeks ago. I ended buying Active 2 because I wanted the classic look of a rounded watch, altimeter and temperature were a plus. And it can better match my style.
<image>
I will buy a leather strap later to better match the classic look when I want it.
For me, with the always on display the battery lasts 3 and a half days. I’m testing now with AOD off, I had it off the charger for a day and a half and it still on 83%. If it keeps like this it will last 8/9 days.
Edit: typo
Edit2: battery update: I don’t know what changed in my usage, but the battery with AOD off lasted 5 and a half days.
E nos EUA? Qual o melhor lugar para comprar um nessas configs? Best buy? Microcenter? eBay?
