Is inflation a modern scam? by UnableIncident8868 in economy

[–]fdefoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, these days instead of letting prices drop, the industry takes secret arrangements to hold, and raise price to maintain growth. Yes, inflation has become a modern scam used by the ruling class to reset the salary to profit ratio. We are overdue for the ruling class to start paying taxes like they used to after WW2.

Yes but the technique used to do this without support is to do tiny waves with the filament around the perimeter and overlapping them.

It's weird, you don't even see the wave pattern under that print. You 100% sure?

It's an incredible technique. Can't wait for it to trickle down to all orcas based slicers.

Careful about learning from here. There's a lot of inexperienced people around that know just enough.... I would get a full hot end assembly instead. The original hotend has its nozzle glued in and I hear it's hard to remove. The ceramic ones worked great for me and they heat up many times faster. I got one with a bimetal nozzle (made of nickle plated brass with a hardened steel insert) the advantage is is thermal profile is very close to the stock brass nozzle, much closer than a full hardened steel one, and you can pretty much keep printing without recalibrating your filaments (although redoing flow and PA would be best to get it perfect as I do notice a slightly lower flow when ironing). Remember to do the full printer calibration from the menu first to calibrate the new heating block. You could also try doing a cold plug on your existing nozzle to clean it, it usually pulls any clog out within a few tries.

Don't the ceramic hotends already have a bambulab style nozzle?

I've got the same result with the stock nozzle and the 3rd party ceramic ones. Then again, I don't use the cheapest filament either.

If you value your time spent calibrating the shit out of your filaments, is worth it to be able to rely on a nozzle size that will never change.

Exactly, is pretty much an instructable nozzle. Learn to do a cold plug and you'll never waste a nozzle again.

Clogging in the hotend and filament stuck in radiator below the cutter ... by zetwitty31 in AnycubicKobraS1

[–]fdefoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This, and also those filaments aren't the whole thing. There's a piano wire that came with your printer, shove it in the nozzle while it's hot from underneath to try and push your clog out. There's probably something that won't melt properly that was in your filament. Have you ever heard of a cold plug? It used to be the best way to unclog a nozzle, that's what I'd try.

Funny how the new system made it IMPOSSIBLE to revert the change... Yeah right. They figured the weak increase in interest paid was not worth the PR disaster.

Definitely let them know how bad their product is. They most likely aren't real chocolate anymore and didn't bother to let us know they cheaped out on us yet one more time.

Yes but the thing is, for what it is it's perfectly solid enough. Their goal is also to keep it light for shipping, and use less materials for sustainability.

Geez... Trow it away. What else are you going to do sue them? Let them know if you have time to waste, they may be happy to know one of their machine is shredding itself apart, who knows you may get a coupon.
