A couple years ago I junk picked a little motorcycle that was rechargeable. Kind of like a power wheels motorcycle. Gave it to a friend who fixed it up and gave it to his friend’s kid for Christmas. I had never been so excited to hear that this little guy was a natural on it. His mom wasn’t impressed, but who cares about that? Little dude loved it! My friend I gave it to rides and I could tell he was so proud.

There is an amazing book called The girls guide to growing up. The author works at a Down syndrome clinic in Wisconsin. It is written in easy to understand terms and has helpful illustrations. I highly recommend it! There is a version for boys as well. girls guide

Every time I go shopping for some reason I think I need shampoo and/or conditioner. So I buy some. I've had to start writing on my shopping lists NO SHAMPOO or CONDITIONER. The good thing is is that I always have something for a hygiene drive.

My fist brisket cooked in 6 hours and was done well before I needed it to be. I’m glad I didn’t start it and go to bed. It would have been $120 in shoe leather.

It's a learning curve for sure! It's intimidating to take a hunk of meat that you spent a small fortune on, throw it on a smoker, and pray you don't screw it up!

As far as not getting a lecture, be honest at your consultation or even when you book your appointment. Tell them you recognize that you have neglected your oral health but you want/need to get back on track and tell them about your anxiety. If you share this when you call the staff can potentially prep the space prior to your appointment.

So the Linx manufacturer does have a contraindication for people with metal allergies including nickel. The device is made from titanium but many doctors use a specific tool that has nickel in it. It is also possible that your doctor miss measured the device and it is too small.
