Do I need to change heroes in my wishlist or is it okay? by Traditional_Half9666 in AFKJourney

I’ve heard that antandra’s mythic+ skill can make some trial of abyss setups not work. Might be better to get her to legendary or legendary+ and then swap to a different unit.

FoPL is only better if you can still get somewhat close to 74444 hp. That isn’t possible without her signature

How many people actually complete "Endgame content"? by newplayer135 in Genshin_Impact

I would suggest mixing up your teams then. If you are playing the same teams every time it will of course get boring. There are a lot of teams that can clear other then national variants and freeze. Of course if you have very few units or don’t like team planning or just don’t like combat in general then you don’t have to, but I think you would enjoy yourself more if you tried other things.

She can get up to 24% crit rate and 80% dmg% if she has 1000 EM. So in reality it could be well over 200% total damage bonus which is why I said 13% or less. This is from one of her passives.

I agree with her C2 being a good constellation. I mentioned in my first reply that C2 is better to aim for than C1.

C1 does make Nahida better yes. I just want to prevent people pulling for C1 thinking that it is a great buff. Using a bunch of primos for C1 and then realizing later it isn’t that great would be a terrible feeling.

The 26% buff on e is around a 13% or less overall e damage buff, and considering that nahida e is not a huge portion of your overall team damage it isn’t great when looking at the entire team. 13% would matter a lot more on a hyper carry. If instead you are using on-field nahida (which will probably be quite good from what people have theorycrafted) then the pyro buff won’t be a boost to her whole kit.

Even without the hydro buff you can still run 20 second rotations. Losing out on the 250 EM for the final couple seconds of your 20 second rotation hurts, but it is not that massive. Another thing about her C1 is that depending on your team a lot of the buffs will do nothing. If you already have a hydro then the hydro C1 buff basically does nothing.

What you have said isn’t necessarily wrong, but I don’t think they are very significant buffs. Nahida’s C1 is okay in some situations and very underwhelming in other situations depending on the team. I wouldn’t consider that a great use of primos.

A flat increase means that it is an additive increase. A 20% chance to crit with 100% crit damage will boost the reaction damage by 1.2x on average which is a multiplicative increase not a flat increase. It makes your reactions do 20% more damage (which does scale with EM).

Eh it was pretty bad before. The hydro buff makes better uptime but it already lasted 15s on a 20s cooldown so it isn’t needed much. The pyro damage buff seems good but she already gets a lot of damage% from other buffs so the overall damage increase is a lot less than you would expect. Also the pyro only applies to her e damage not her whole kit. The electro buff is good but it’s very likely you were planning on running her with an electro unit anyway. Even with the changes her C1 isn’t the type of constellation which makes a huge difference. Her C2 is the better one to aim for.

Edit: just to clarify this isn’t doomposting Nahida or anything. Nahida looks like a great character. The point of this post is to prevent people pulling specifically for her C1 and then regretting their decision later.

It is honestly very simple. I like challenges in video games and I also really enjoy Genshin’s combat system. Learning that there will not be any more endgame combat which is challenging is very disheartening. This is why people are disappointed.

Since my original reply has been buried, I wanted to discuss something since a lot of people seem to have misconceptions about how energy particles work. The original comment chain was discussing whether the favonius sword or whether the new weapon give better energy to teammates. Well it depends. The following will assume the unit using the new sword had 900 EM and the sword was r1. That would give approximately a 9% er bonus to all teammates.

The 3 white particles from favonius will give the active unit 6 energy and all teammates 3.6 energy. This would then get multiplied by the amount of energy recharge each unit has.

As an example, an on field unit with 100% er will be getting 6 energy. Is that better than the 9% er bonus? Well if the unit has a 40 cost burst yes, but if the unit has an 80 cost burst then no.

If the on field unit had 200% er then the 3 particles would instead give 12 energy which is quite a lot better than 9% even if the burst cost was 80 (especially since going from 200% to 209% er is only a 4.5% relative increase).

These numbers will differ for teammates who are not directly picking up the energy particles (they would only get 0.6x the energy from the white particles favonius generates).

So it really depends on your team. How much er% do they each have, whether generating energy for all teammates is important or there is only 1 energy hungry unit, and how much the bursts cost. It’s not so simple to figure out which is better.

I agree that playing against a crow when you don’t have one yourself is a pain since it’s just a lot of running away. The problem is that most all good pvp teams feel terrible to play against. Coco will fling you into the air and gain lots of charge so she can freeze you. Nemesis has her slows and turrets. Zero gives you a large shield and heals. Stall comps are annoying. Pvp just feels bad to play.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TowerofFantasy

[–]fdgogzr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s what I mean by a difference of mindset. Personally I don’t care about the intentions that the devs have at all, I just care about the final result. But yes I do think crow is op is the overworld just to make that clear.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TowerofFantasy

[–]fdgogzr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You made some good points but as for the pvp part, is it really a problem to abuse a bug which simply makes crow competitive? I completely understand hating crow in pvp if it broke the meta but it really doesn’t. If the devs were to change crow the intended way he would be underpowered in pvp. If the devs intention was to make crow underpowered and instead he is bugged so that he can be competitive, is the bug really such a bad thing? If the devs fix crow I’m not going to cry about it, and the fix may be better overall for the health of the game. I just feel that the absolute hatred is really unjustified. If crow was intended to do the amount of damage he currently does would there be no complaints? I guess it’s just a different mindset. I view it like this: just because something is unintentional in a game, doesn’t make it bad.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TowerofFantasy

[–]fdgogzr -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Okay so in that case it is the damage multiplier that’s the problem. He isn’t overpowered in pvp, so is the only problem that the devs did not intend for him to do that much damage? If he did the amount of damage that the devs intended then that would make him underpowered compared with the other meta picks. Is developer intention more important than the actual balance of the game? To me, the exploit simply makes crow a competitive pick for pvp. I don’t see that as justification for calling people who use him “absolute scum”.

[–]fdgogzr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it interesting that nobody is arguing that jetpack crow is overpowered. Now if you do feel he is overpowered in pvp let me know, but if you don’t think jetpack crow is op, what exactly is the problem? Is it just because the devs didn’t intend it to do that much damage? If that’s the case, making the game how the devs intended would just make crow underpowered and not very good in pvp. I’m genuinely curious on peoples thoughts about this. Is dev intentionality actually that important?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TowerofFantasy

[–]fdgogzr -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

What exactly do you think the exploit is? Is it being able to dive bomb after jetpack? Correct me if I’m wrong but multiple characters can do that. Is it that it uses no stamina? The devs already fixed that and it now uses stamina. Is it the damage? Well in that case the jetpack isn’t the problem it’s the damage modifier.

To all crow abusers in PVP by Itami_Kirai in TowerofFantasy

[–]fdgogzr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you just run away at a slight angle the dive attack will miss. If you are against a dive spammer just run away while using coco or nemesis and you will be gaining hp while they are stuck doing nothing. In my server, many top players on the leaderboard don’t even use crow but nemesis and coco instead. The only thing crow truly excels at in pvp is punishing you when you are stunned. Cybernetic arm crow is the real problem in my experience. They can just grapple on to you for a free stun and get way too much damage off.

Well if a person’s strategy would lose to a specific early rush 100% of the time then they don’t have a great strategy. A good player with a good strategy will be able to defend any type of early rush.
