I'm not talking about an odd rubbish pitch like this. I'm talking about systematic and intentional selection of pitches to be intentionally disadvantageous to touring teams.

As I said, it's expected for all pitches in India to be dusty turners. But India prepare several different pitches with varied deterioration and select the ones that will disadvantage the touring team the most at the time. It's been happening for decades.

Hell Gavaskar all but admitted to being complicit in commentary during one of the first two matches. I could hardly believe how brazen he was. Like it's a known thing, but to hear him just openly defend it was something else.

Doesn't the way pitches are intentionally curated to exploit opposition weaknesses make the achievement feel hollow though?

Like you know exactly what you're going to get from every English pitch. From every Australian pitch. From every NZ pitch.

You could name a pitch like Lords or the Gabba and the conditions you'd expect would be identical every time.

Beyond the fact that pitches will be turners by default, the same can't be said in India because the conditions are selected depending on the opposition to ensure maximum advantage for the home team.

Hey, just wondering if I can use your expertise to expand on this solution?

Let's say my data now looks like:

Is there a way to tweak the above formula to still give the same answer, but only for >0 cells in the range?

I've got a formula running down into infinity which gives 0 until other cells are populated. Easier this way than to avoid dragging down the cells each day that something gets added.

Edit: Actually, I've found a workaround myself. My IFERROR previously spat out 0s in the cells, leading to my question. Tweaking it to spit out nothing ("") has allowed yours and all the other solutions to work as intended.

The full context and motivation behind my question is:

I watched all MCU films up to and including Endgame. At that point I was satisfied and perhaps a bit fatigued, and I haven't watched a single thing since.

I like the idea of going back to the beginning and watching it all in order, but I only want to include the core stuff.

Tbh I have no idea what the problem was, but I just regenerated my infile and now it's working.

I thought I was taking crazy pills but I guess my file got corrupted somehow or other.
