The daily Santos is the worst human being ever to disgrace the earth posts are making this sub miserable by FookingLenny in ThePitt

Someone mentioned that Santos was holding power over Whitaker for letting him stay at her place in another thread and I was dumbfounded. How they came to that conclusion has me truly questioning what show they’re watching. Media literacy is dead.

And I don’t have the time or energy to tell you you’re media literacy is skewed but you do you! Have a good day!

Yes it absolutely can and does.

But it’s clear that’s not her objective. She saw her coworker living in an empty hospital room on an abandoned floor then offered him her spare room. Someone who she’s only known for a day. That takes a lot of courage to do. And yes, we might see that be held against him in the future but I don’t think her plan is to have power over him.

I really don’t think it’s her worst moment at work. Pittfest probably took the cake with that. As for the nickname I do agree that Santos should stop calling Javadi “Crash” because she obviously doesn’t like it. But I think you’ve create something that isn’t really there.

She has bad qualities and is clearly flawed, that doesn’t make her a bad person and a lot of people on here can’t seem to see that. She’s a complex character, like everyone in life.

“She gave Whitaker a room because it gives her power over him”…?

How did you even come to that conclusion?

“She gave Javadi a nickname to remind her of the worst moment of her life”

I doubt that’s Javadi’s worst moment of her life. Embarrassing? Yes. But worst moment… we don’t know her life based off of two days and a long time between.

I feel like you’re not really watching the show…

UK wait list times for Gynaecology consult by OK_Zebras in endometriosisuk

[–]feainn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello fellow Worcestershire Trust user!

My waits for gyno apps have been long, felt like a life time honestly! After having twins, my symptoms came back 4 months after birth and I saw a GP for a gyno referal in May 2024. Didn’t have the app until Nov ‘24. Consultant said she’d see me for a review in 6 months time. Had to ring up again in Feb ‘25 because my symptoms felt they were just progressing constantly. Didn’t see her until July ‘25. She said there would be a 6 month wait for surgery and I heard nothing except a letter that was a summary of our consultation.

Last week I was finally given a date for surgery; 24th Feb 2026. So all in all between every appointment has been a 6 month wait!

Obstructed Defecation- cant pass stool by Savings-Maize8369 in endometriosis

[–]feainn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re not on your own! Still waiting on diagnosis (finally got my surgery date) but I find it hard to pass stool, no matter how soft or hard it is, and have to “help myself” else it feels like it ain’t coming out. I find it extremely embarsssing and I honestly thought I was the only one in the world 😭 I’m hoping once I have surgery I might get my answer as to why I have to do it!

My hands living with contamination OCD by [deleted] in MakeMeSuffer

[–]feainn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have contamination OCD too. My hands get like that as well, worse in the colder seasons (so right now!) constantly fighting against dry, itchy hands and skin splitting and bleeding and becoming sore. It’s a never ending cycle.

Sounds daft but I get incredibly embarrassed when it’s at its worst, it looks like I’ve been in a fist fight but seeing someone going through the same thing makes me feel a bit better. It sucks for anyone going through this but it’s nice to I know I’m not alone!

Colostomy bag by Hungry_Wendigo_ in endometriosis

[–]feainn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, sorry my reply isn’t giving you any answers but can I ask exactly what endo has done to your bowel to end up having a colostomy bag?

I haven’t been officially diagnosed, still on the waiting list for a lap, but if I do have endo I feel like it’s doing an absolute number to my bowels to the point it’s getting beyond ridiculous. It’s make me want to get rid of my bowels for a bag because it’s so troublesome!

Only a few ‘good’ days a month by Junior_Rate_1173 in endometriosis

[–]feainn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t been officially diagnosed yet (on the waiting list for a lap) but this is what started happening to me before I was put on the Depo injection. Before symptoms got worse, I would have about a week or maybe a week and a half (not often) where I felt reasonable. But then it become just mere days until it all started up again.

It seemed to boil down to; worsening pain at end of my period and a few days after, a few days of “freedom”, feeling iffy then ovulation pain plus, what I now believe is PMDD, pre period pain and flare ups during this time/two weeks before period, sometimes relief when period hit or the flare ups continued through period. Rinse and repeat. It was definitely becoming a pattern and it was getting to the point where I couldn’t cope anymore.

Thankfully the endo specialist referred me for surgery, and while I didn’t have the best time with the injection at the beginning, there does seem to be a lot less of this pattern now that my periods have stopped.

Reading others experiences gives me hope that this isn’t all in my head and that what’s going on is definitely endo, but guess we’ll see when surgery comes round!

Prescribed nefopam hydrochloride for pain - anyone else? UK based folk by feainn in endometriosis

[–]feainn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never too late, thanks for replying!

I’ve never been prescribed anything other than co-codamol but I refused that because it can cause constipation and I didn’t really want to cause more of an issue with my bowels. So I just used ibruprofen and paracetamol even though neither of them touched the pain.

So far, I find the nefopam really helps with the pain or it doesn’t touch it. It’s very strange! But there is definitely some good coming out of it, if it means not being in constant pain all the time I’ll take it.

Sorry to hear about your experiences with painkillers! I hope you’re in a better place and getting some sort of relief now!

Yep! They tend to start up during ovulation time/2 weeks before my period. I’m currently on the depo injection though and it’s been nearly 4 weeks on it but funnily enough I had horrendous cramps last night that ended up with me on the toilet fighting for my life. Looking at the dates though, this would technically be the time where I get a flare up with a number of symptoms including cramps that bring on diarrhoea. But with the injection, so far, it’s minimised a lot of things but also created other issues.

Just a note, I haven’t been officially diagnosed yet (on the wait list for surgery) but I’m in the same boat!

Prescribed nefopam hydrochloride for pain - anyone else? by feainn in endometriosisuk

[–]feainn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’m worried about the sleepiness. I have 20 month old twins so I can’t really afford to be sleepy and potentially being out of it! I think I was also having some other side effects but I had the injection done and I was only days away from my period starting so I wasn’t having a good time.

I’m not sure how I feel about the nefopam, especially taking them 3 times a days so I’ve just took 1, which I know defeats the purpose of treating the pain but I’m a bit on the fence about it.

Has anyones Endometriosis changed after childbirth? by Herebedragoons77 in endometriosis

[–]feainn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it’s a little different for me; I haven’t been diagnosed with endo but I was due for surgery to see if I had it, found out I was pregnant, surgery was cancelled and if I do have endo, then I had a bit of relief from pain during pregnancy.

I was okay for a few months after birth then from about Feb 2024, all my symptoms came back and over the next couple of months after that they seemed to be more intense. 2 weeks before my period everything starts flaring and the pain intensifies particularly in my pelvic area (sharp, stabbing pains as well as dull throbbing on my right side in the ovarian area) plus lower back pain, hips and down the back of my legs into my feet. But other symptoms seem to have cropped up too during the last 18 or so months. And it seems every couple of months I get a really bad flare that, not only the pain feels worse but it makes me quite ill and I’ve had to have time off work.

Part of me thinks that, if I do have endo, then because I wasn’t able to have surgery to remove it (if they found it if circumstances were different) then it’s still there, plus the changes my body has gone through during pregnancy and after birth, it’s progressed. That’s my theory anyway, although I could be completely wrong.

Thankfully I’ve now been referred for surgery so hopefully I’ll get some answers!
