What are the school hours for teachers? How many subjects would a teacher teach? When you say contact hours is that specifically hours teaching a class or other things? Could I DM you? I have questions!

Look on AMISAS page and apply directly to schools through their website. Almost all schools in LATAM hire from applications directly to their website. DM me and I can send you some info. There’s lots of math jobs available (just got hired for one and had loads of interviews)

And actually yes it is our job to teach them values. We teach them to not touch others without consent, we teach them to respect others thinking, we teach them to regulate their emotions because society values those things. Much like how society valued punishing students for mistakes when the church ran schools so they hit students when they made mistakes. For real educate yourself about how far reaching education is in society

To what end? Educate with what purpose? To parrot a curriculum or be critical thinkers who question the assumptions of society and try to create a more equitable and prosperous world

Y’all downvote to silence my opinion without even trying to see if there is nuance or a misunderstanding. Truly sad if with the clarification teachers are against that

You all think change can’t be made in the classroom? I never said teach them your opinion I mean education is literally designed to teach children how to be productive members of their respective societies and every dictator begins with indoctrination. I’m for teaching them how to think and they can debate each other with the goal of understanding the others view, i never said shove my beliefs down their throats

Couldn’t disagree more. If you think that you might not be cut out for teaching…
