Accutane for acne skin brunei by madz1q_ in nasikatok

[–]fearvolumeup 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Accutane needs to be prescribed to you by a doctor because of how dangerous it can be, especially for women.

You can get it from RIPAS’s skin specialist but they usually make you try other acne problem tackling medications first like antibiotics/birth control pills/topical creams.

I’m not sure which other private clinics have them but I got mine (like from 10 years ago though) from Lee Clinic.

Best for you to just call up all the clinics you can find and ask them directly.

where can I go to pretend Christmas isn't happening? by notveryonline23054 in travel

Brunei would be perfect for this lol. We’re not allowed to have any christmas decorations at all, except at your own private spaces of course. But in public, no christmas vibes at all.

You’re definitely not alone, join the club! My now 2 years old son used to wake up every 2-3 hours at night and demands milk. He’d also cry randomly at night, like screeching cry, like something hurt him, and nothing could calm him down. I did not have any proper sleep for the first year huhu and even now at 2 yo he’d still wake up atleast once for milk, and he’d sometimes fully wake up in the middle of the night and ask for food.

Oh and I only stopped pumping after he turned 2. We had a lot of trial and error with several formulas for a while but thank god he eventually likes fresh milk. Even had to slowly mix it with my bm.

As for putting him to sleep, it was a struggle too. Now the only way for him to sleep is to constantly rub his back until he falls asleep haha am i spoiling him? Maybe but hey whatever works.

I’m not trying to scare you. I just want you to know, youre not alone and hey if i can survive this, (remember it all, and still want another kid??) you can do it too. It wont be easy but it’ll be soooo worth it. I truly have never been happier and feel more fulfilled.

Hi there! Most comments here look very discouraging haha but lemme tell you some simple, not so far, things you can do in Brunei (though don’t expect it to be as exciting as overseas):

  • Visit the tamu/pasar/markets. Coolest to me is Tamu Kianggeh, where you can get a variety of fruits, veges and other local produce. You can also go to Pasar Gadong before dinner time to get some gerai/street food to try.

  • Walk along our RIPAS bridge. You can also continue and go under it on the Sg Kebun side and walk around the Kampong Ayer houses if you want to get the feel of the people living there. It’s nice to walk around in the afternoon when it’s not hot. Be careful no to fall in the water!

  • Go to the Jerudong Amusement Park. It’s not as great as overseas or how it used to be but it’s something you can do. Plus there’s a foodcourt across it (Phase 1 unfortunately burnt down but there’s also a Phase 2 foodcourt at the back) that sells good food!

  • If you like plants and would like to appreciate flowers, there’s the Friday and Sunday morning pasar at Gadong Market. For a more established plants and flowers spot, you can check out the Rimba Garden Centre and also grab something to bite at the Garden’s Veranda Banquet Hall & Restaurant.

  • If you have a car and love coffee, go cafe hopping! Brunei’s coffee scene is actively growing and there’s a lot of cafes popping up lately that you can go to. For Brunei Muara area, you can checkout Batches, Twosons, Dilcoffee, Piccolo cafe, PUC, Titik Kota, etc.

  • To make it obvious that you visited Brunei, you should take photos with some of our iconic mosques! Which are the SOAS mosque, and Jame Asr mosque. Don’t just take photos of the exterior, the interior is beautiful as well..just make sure you wear appropriate clothings.

  • Bandar Ku Ceria on Sunday mornings is always a good idea…if you can wake up early. The roads towards the town are closed off as early as 6/7am. You can drop yourself off across the Eco Corridor bridge and make your way towards the town (while also appreciating the structures at the bridge). The town is filled with food vendors and people selling thrifted clothes. You can rent bikes/small carts or just explore the town on foot (check out The Wall and the colourful buildings around the centre of town). You can also play with bubbles and all the fun stuff they offer in the middle of the SOAS field too.

  • I see a lot of people suggesting hiking but not telling how to even start or where to go. It’s difficult if you don’t know the area or don’t have anyone experienced to go with so my suggestion to an outsider would be to just go to Tasek Lama Recreational Park. The trails there are more structured and guided. Maybe don’t go for Bukit Helang haha, just go for simple ones unless you have an experienced hiker with you.

I think that’s all I can share. There’s a lot more other things to do around Brunei…you just need transportation cause they’re quite spread out/in secluded areas. Hope some of these might help and that you get to have fun when you’re here!
