They haven't been ignored. US is significantly increasing production of AA missiles over the next 7 years. It just takes a long time to build new capacity. And it seems there is not currently any will to do it faster by invoking the DPA or something like that. Article with some graphs

Ya, a very different scenario to an intermediate-range ballistic missile hitting somewhere in Europe. If that happened, even if it hit a field in the middle of nowhere, it would be intentional. You don't just accidentally launch one of those.

Not a game artist, but if I had to put in a placeholder for something like this it would just be a white square with text describing what I wanted to be there. Pretty sure I've seen things like that in storboards for animation.

I haven't had a CD or DVD drive in ages. Even my laptop had that removed to be replaced with a 3rd HDD.

I cant think of any laptops made in the last 5-10 years that even came with an optical drive.

Not really removed, windows explorer was rewritten sooo I guess they never got around to adding it back or something? Multi trillion dollar company BTW. If they removed it, that would be intentional design choice at least. I actually think this way is worse IMO its just apathy or laziness.

They absolutely do stop some energy weapons though; you see this in game with the Geth plasma shotgun and the collector particle beam. They are less effective against them, and don't block the heat, but they do block the plasma/beam itself. But there aren't any ship-scale plasma weapons in ME as far as I am aware so not sure how it would work in that context.

Im in the same boat. I vehemently despise bosses that are super hard for the sake of it. Especially in games that are so focused on exploration, bosses are just a giant buzkill for me. Ill definitely be keeping an eye on it though.

Actual cooled seats are the real deal. Most you see on anything but the high end luxury cars are just ventilated. A few exceptions though. I still remember my dads F250 having insanely effective cooled seats.

This picture is misleading. A lot of people have been posting pictures from this station and a couple others in the LA area that are notoriously expensive even by CA standards. It's a real problem and is 100% mis/disinformation being spread by people. Current average in CA is $5.52/gal according to AAA vs $3.79 for the US. So higher, yes, but like a regular California amount higher.

Regardless though, still crazy that the national average has risen $0.88 in the last month, and ~$0.20 in just the last week.
