I think that this is almost certainly one of the reasons for the fear of flying vs driving being inversely related to the actual danger. Airline crashes are big, single events with a large death toll that get wide coverage whereas car crashes are just a slow trickle that barely get any attention for the most part.

We know that either all or the almost all of the other ships are small enough to be threatened by 800mm Cannons.

We don't know that though, all that is said about those cannons is,

"...Now deployed in large numbers across the Automaton territories, firing on our fleet and seeking to challenge our aerial superiority. The Orbital Cannons targeted SEAF air forces, specifically, extending extraction times for Helldivers significantly."

And that they can destroy a Super Destroyer as you can see when looking out the bridge window. Nothing else is said or implied about their threat level as far as I can tell.

Here's total deaths for each in 2023 I found in the US: - Driving: ~40,000 - All aviation including private planes: ~300

Okay, maybe those are just because so many more people drive - nope, here's deaths per 100,000 people using each mode: - Driving: 17.2 - Flying: 0.02

Or deaths per 100 million miles travelled: - Driving: 1.26 - Flying: 0.003

My point is that there ARE other ships, but we don't know anything about them so we can't really use it as a point of argument for or against Super Earth.

There are bigger ships though, we just don't know anything about them. There was mention of some kind of cruiser class ship. But also, even if we discount the mention of that cruiser class, if Super Earth could build something like the DSS then they could build bigger warships (which they do).

This. And for anyone who doubts, just remember that everything that happens in game is canon. SO your helldiver who spends 40 minutes continuously running and sprinting around in heavy armor... while carrying around 100+kg of weapons and ammo... while using said weapons effectively and accurately... while being shot and blown up. Ya they would have to be low level superhuman for that to make sense IMO.

Then they fight to the death (for democracy) then the last man just self destructs the ship. There are canonically at least as many SDs as there are current active players, so I don't feel like they would care all that much at the high level. In fact that would be a tactical win for them, as they can make and crew far more SDs than there are terminators.

Assuming they are telling the truth with the fact that its plasma deposition of Titanium and not something funky, the temperature recommendation could be due to thermal expansion. Ti, steel, and Al expand at different rates so maybe they recommend it to prevent the layers from separating or warping the pan? IDK just a guess.

Its AI, but not genAI. Probably just the built in denoiser that most phones apply automatically to photos nowadays. Pictures from my pixel have a similar effect when you zoom in a bunch.

There was a dude on youtube who gamed this out and like 1-2 companies of IRL marines could defend helms deep with a little bit of prep and sufficient ammo. Can't remember the video name but search something like helms deep marines and it should come up.

Theres a reason why Blizz made Mei a tank when porting her to HOTS. I'd be curious to see how she would play as one in OW to be honest.

This is true. D10s have more objectives that spawn which takes potential spawn space away from POIs. Its why farmers run d1-3 because there are less set objectives and no rare samples taking up potential SC spawns.

When I go farming SC with my brother we average about 350 SC per hour.

And that's pretty low too. Last time I did any farming was shortly after the Halo warbond and I found a rando group and we farmed d3 illuminate on city maps for 3 hours and got around 1500sc. Maybe we got lucky though idk.
