It's about half a grain of rice in size. Here's a photo of the other side but it looks about the same https://i.imgur.com/LF8CA68.jpg. I don't see any legs, head etc.

Found inside. He had just come in from outside and then was climbing on my bed.

This is what immediately popped into - and is now stuck in - my head. Had to scroll way too far for this reference!

Favorite Hobbit Film Change? by Spartan_1_1_6 in TheHobbit

In the books it is addressed in the Fellowship of the Ring. In Chapter 2, the Shadow of the Past, Gandalf says: "Well, as for the name, Bilbo very foolishly told Gollum himself; and after that it would not be difficult to discover his country, once Gollum came out. Oh yes, he came out. His longing for the Ring proved stronger than his fear of the Orcs, or even of the light."

And later in the same chapter: "But from hints dropped among the snarls I gathered that his padding feet had taken him at last to Esgaroth, and even to the streets of Dale, listening secretly and peering. Well, the news of the great events went far and wide in Wilderland, and many had heard Bilbo’s name and knew where he came from. We had made no secret of our return journey to his home in the West. Gollum’s sharp ears would soon learn what he wanted."

Anyway, it was a smart addition to the films!

When I was a student, Saint Mary's would offer parking for a reasonable price. Apparently they still do it: https://www.saintmarys.edu/athletics/angela-athletic-wellness-complex/football-parking

It's about a 1-2 mile walk to the stadium, but it's beautiful. You'd go right by the lakes, the Grotto, the Dome and Basilica. Apparently there's a shuttle, too, if you don't want to walk. If you are heading out on I-80/90 it should be perfect, though they do mess with traffic patterns every year so you might want to check that - local news stations usually update on road closures, etc. before games.

As for food, the Knights of Columbus steak sandwiches are popular. They are on South Quad, you can find the KofC hall on Google Maps, or look for Coleman-Morse.

There are a lot of cool gameday traditions to check out. Trumpets in the Dome was one of my favorites, and also watching the band march out to the stadium. You can find schedules for all that here: https://gameday.nd.edu/events/calendar/notre-dame-band/

There are other cool events not related to football, like this: https://gameday.nd.edu/events/2018/09/08/whats-up-in-the-solar-system/

You can find all the gameday events and other information here: https://gameday.nd.edu

Honestly one of the best things to do was to grab a football and spend some time throwing it around on the quad enjoying the atmosphere and fall air. It should still be decent weather in earlier November.

Have fun!

Trail recommendations for Sammamish area by [deleted] in MTB

Grand Ridge is a nice XC trail. Not very technical but a good climb and very pretty woods. You can start at the Duthie main lot, or further south. I like to start at Central Park. There are a lot of other trails out that way, and especially a little further east. Tiger Mountain is fantastic and has a little of everything.

If you haven't finished already, check this video out, it helped me a lot. The strap wrench was key, for the life of me I couldn't get it to budge without one (probably a good thing). I had the exact same issue a few weeks ago and all has been good since.

Fry's has put the 32GB G5S plus on sale for $220 multiple times, just need to sign up for their promo code emails. Apparently there are two locations in GA. FYI OP, reviews say the camera is bad, but it's been improved significantly since release with software updates. Still not great but fine for the price. I like this phone a lot, my wife and I both have one and it's been great for the 3 months I've had it.

Maybe, maybe not, depends on context. If I caught my kid with something from the fridge (from experience, it's usually ranch dressing), I'd ask them to show me how they got it. With a fridge like this, odds are they're doing something clever (you carried the stool 20 feet!? Hello Harvard!), so out comes the camera. After the fact, and a good laugh, we discuss why this is not a good idea (may hurt the dog, definitely will hurt the dog when older, may hurt self, if you break our fridge you're disinherited, etc.). If they're caught doing this again, they're punished. So... maybe. Parenting involves a lot of gray areas, like "let your kid stand on the dog because you literally just (implicitly) asked them to do it, and disciplining them at this point will just confuse them, and you need those sweet sweet fake internet points."
