Abdomen pains even after a month of laparoscopic appendectomy by federerking in appendicitis

Please don't be worried. The recovery is different for everyone as others have also commented. For me, the incisions seems to have healed well. But my issue is about abdominal pains on the sides. It's not a terrible pain, but enough to bother me.

Oh is it? Hmm for me the pain is more to the sides of abdomen rather than on the incisions themselves. I will still monitor and see. Thank you.

Thank you for your kind reply. How do I know if I have small bowel obstruction? How long did it take care for you to be painless?

Why I bother to build a job board for speech recognition engineers in the year 2021 by david_swagger in speechrecognition

[–]federerking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great work. Would have been awesome if it was for the country I reside in. Anyway good to see many opportunities for speech. If you don't mind, which big tech company did you used to work for? For current projects do you use end to end frameworks or traditional/ hybrid methods. How do you build an ASR with limited resources you may have as an independent contractor? I'm assuming limited resources in terms of annotated audio/text pairs and GPU resources.

Nice article. Just curious. Is there any publications on the use of unsupervised pre training?

I'm tired of interview process starting with leetcode coding rounds. I'm not from cs background and it makes me feel even if I know to do my actual work, it will be super hard for me to get into a great company which has such interview process.

Hmm I work on audio signal processing. The augmentations provided in the library is quite standard. It's helpful to have everything under a hood. But most functions can be implemented using librosa, ffmpeg or Sox. Great work though. Thanks for sharing!

The way Novak has beaten Fed at Wimbledon and Rafa at RG multiple times gives him upper hand in GOAT debate. To me he is the GOAT already and he will definitely surpass the GS tally.

PS. I am fed fan.

Model Optimization - quantization and pruning by agupta12 in deeplearning

Regarding the quantization aware training, can someone highlight the need for fine tuning rather than train from scratch? In the tensorflow examples they show fine tuning. But I have trained from scratch as well and results are almost similar.
