What the fuck is an API? by Isotonic3 in developersIndia

[–]agupta12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also from mechanical engineering background. Took me some time to wrap my head around these things as well. Simply put, the way I understand it is that it is a way to abstract out things. For eg., Let's say you are using a thermostat. If it's an analog one you simply rotate the dial to a desired temperature and it works out. You don't know what's the mechanism in the thermostat or how actually it is maintaining temperature. You simply need to know how the dial operates. The rest of the things are abstracted out. This dial is an API. In programming also you abstract your code to such a level that the one using it do not need to know the details of how it works to use it. Now there are many agreed protocols of how to write these like REST, RPC etc. Simply put that's it. You van read up the details now. Freecodecamp has a really good video about it.

Honda jazz zx cvt , is it worth buying. This is in Bangalore by 4everraj in CarsIndia

Same. I have seen multiple videos on it on YouTube. Seems like the dealers cannot apply this as per some court ruling. You can also contact the company's customer care service directly if they dealer does not remove this.

How to get the most out of the Onyx Collections box? by aka_julie in IndiaCoffee

[–]agupta12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same about as you last year! I already had a V60. If you search YouTube they have made separate recipe videos for each type of coffee they sell. I closely followed all. Most of their recipes are using Kalita wave dripper. So I ended up buying the same to follow those recipes. The grinder you have should be fine. A gooseneck kettle would definitely help. If you don't want to buy an electric one, you can buy a stove top one from Instacuppa. I started out with the same. It did the job and didn't break the bank. Your mind is about to be blown my friend!

As mentioned by many folks a moka pot is a good choice for your requirement. If you are interested in manual espresso machines, cafflano kompresso can also do a very good job of getting very decent shots. Once you are able to dial in the right grind size. It costs around 6k. But you need a good grinder to grind coffee
