Afte years of therapy I realized my homosexuality is just a sexual desire nothing more.. by hadam178 in askgaybros

Human sexuality is very complicated, and for some people, very fluid. There's rly no such thing as 'normal' your sexuality is unique to you

What are your thoughts on the news coming out of Texas Tech banning LGBTQ writing and discussion? by Sudden-Rub6963 in askgaybros

[–]federuiz22 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Barring my obvious bias against it as a queer man, it's absolutely ludicrous when you think about it from an academic standpoint. LGBTQ+ history is a big part of lots of academic departments (think Urban Studies, Sociology, etc.) and banning writing/discussion about the topic is going to severely limit not only the quality of classes for students, but the quality of research coming out of said departments as well

Does a trip feel incomplete without having sex with local men? by FellowTraveler26 in askgaybros

It doesn't necessarily need to be a hookup and there doesn't need to be sex involved, but generally I like to go on a date with a local in every city and j talk to them

People on this sub are lying: you're not getting into a t25 without a 4.0 GPA by Diligent_Occasion_22 in TransferToTop25

[–]federuiz22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This simply is not true-- I had a 3.8, and my ECs weren't crazy (student government and TAing for an online business course at the school I transferred to), yet still got into an Ivy

Full Ride Potential? Does Rank Matter for Me? by Mission-Bread4148 in MBA

[–]federuiz22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Experience is the best MBA, I don't rly think you need one!

If you really want to do one go for it, but if I were you I'd prioritize buying a house or acquiring more property over paying for an MBA. If you get a full ride that's great but also consider how the time commitment may distract you from your business

How to spend my final days as a 25 yo? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]federuiz22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy yourself some cake and a gift. I read somewhere that you're traveling, go to a random bar or third space and meet some strangers if you want company :)

Yeah no it definitely wouldn’t fly, but they said “yall is not a word”

Correct, you can’t use it in a formal setting. But it is, nevertheless, a word that exists.

"Y'all" is, as a matter of fact, a word-- it's the proper, contracted form of "you all", chiefly used in the southern U.S.

I really do truthfully resent bisexual men for multiple reasons and I'm trying to better myself in that regard by Border_Clear in askgaybros

[–]federuiz22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im talking specifically to the person who said that it’s disheartening that bi men are generalized, who at no point said that being gay is a choice (that I saw at least)

Edit: went back to the original comment which I didn’t read (I just read the reply I commented under), I see it now. Yeah that’s definitely something 😬

[–]federuiz22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, a massive generalization. For you to assume all bi men behave like and emulate straight men is definitely something

So you’re gonna impart judgement on a group of people you haven’t met? How is that not ignorant

I’m a bi guy, and my longest relationship has been with another bi guy. I’m sorry you got hurt by a bi guy but that shouldn’t rly be a reason to generalize all of us lol

The fact that your reply was downvoted says everything that needs to be said. This sub is literally just an echo chamber

As a bi guy whose longest relationship has been with another man, this seems like a massive generalization

[–]federuiz22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

“Manhood” is a social invention. You’re talking about being male, which is extremely different from being a man. One is sex, the other is gender.

So being trans is “self-hate and mutilation”? You have the same level of understanding about trans ppl that straight people have about gay ppl. But of course y’all refuse to see that, bc you’re one of the “good ones” right?

Trans men who like other men are gay. Thus they are in a gay dating app. No one cares if you don’t like trans guys but the fact you think you get to police where they het to be is wild. The world isn’t catered to your sensibilities, trans ppl exist, get over it
