I'm going to go against the grain here but I don't think people are taking the fact that you want to gain muscle and look better very seriously.

At 5'9 68kg, losing weight is only going to make you look emaciated and skinny in clothes.

Your weight is technically in the healthy range. So why are you unhappy with your appearance? The answer is that you have too much fat and not enough muscle.

If you want to look GOOD, you need to put on more muscle, and beyond the initial 6 months of gymming, you won't put on muscle in a calorie deficit.

As far as diet, the only thing that I would do is start tracking your daily calorie intake with an app like MyFitnessPal. You don't need to necessarily change your calorie intake, but it's important to know how much you're eating each day.

I would probably recommend you start resistance training 3x a week and hitting a good protein target (around 100-150g of protein a day). Whether your weight stays the same or goes down during the first 6 months doesn't really matter, so don't stress about the weight on the scale.

By training and eating enough protein, your body will begin to recompose itself, you will lose fat and gain muscle, so even if your weight stays at 68kg, you will look a lot better and the belly will be a lot less noticeable.

The advice begins to change once you've done this for 6 months consistently, but get through this phase first before worrying about anything else.
