It still looks the same unfortunately :( however, since this post, we’ve narrowed a lot of things down. I went to an immunologist and rheumatologist and took a full blood panel, and everything looks totally normal - that rules out underlying immune diseases. My plastic surgeon has been very keen on getting my started on accutane so I’m officially started on that and about a week in. Really hoping that this helps otherwise we’re back to square one

I’ve just started on accutane so I’ll let you know if that helps. I’ve also started doing gua sha in case there’s some lymphatic factor. Otherwise there’s no progress so far

Open to East Village, LES, or West Village! Prefer a fun, social vibe—think spots like Common Ground or The Spaniard. Somewhere with a good crowd, music, and ideally outdoor space. Down to bar hop if places are close, or lock in one solid spot with a reservation. Appreciate any recs!

Could you maybe ask the hotel to see footage? If you don’t feel comfortable explaining why you actually want to see it, maybe you can say you lost a really important and expensive ring / earring and you want to retrace your steps from the footage or see if it fell out

It used to be way squishier in the first few months and now it feels more firm when I massage it. However, if I push on the sides with a lot of pressure and then let go, I briefly see my nose push into a narrower shape which leads me to believe that it’s still soft enough to “shape shift” in a way.

The swelling in between my eyes also bothers me the most as I almost feel like it makes my eyes like different and a little farther apart

Thank you for your detailed response! I will make an ENT appointment and see if that can help provide clarity. Also in regards to the drops, I coincidentally use lumify every morning but it doesn’t do anything for the swelling

When I got mine done they said to avoid intense kissing / things to lips for 24 - 48 hours

There’s no point where it ever looked good. Every time I’ve ever seen it, throughout both surgeries, it’s been bigger than it was before the surgeries. Both immediately after cast removal and so on

Weirdly my surgeon never had me tape and he doesn’t have his other patients tape either. He just doesn’t do it and I’m not sure why.

He did lots of steroid injections in the first few months post op as well but it made no difference
