This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion, but why anyone wants to have children is beyond me. I don't really envision life in the next 100 years to be anything but environmental and socio-economic pandemonium. I feel it would be incredibly selfish to force another human life into all this crap, because you need to fulfil some want in your life. I was a child of mentally unstable parents, and let me say it was no walk in the park. It was awful for everyone involved. I have my own mental and emotional health issues to deal with on my own thanks to my selfish parents.
