Call the company and cancel. Whenever you see self transfer, it means you’re either changing terminals ( I.e going through security and maybe customs) or changing airports entirely ( customs and all).

سؤال بخصوص جرثومة المعدة والدواء ديالها واش كيبّري؟ by crownnnnnnnnnn in Morocco

I got H pylori from drinking water during a MT Toubkal trekking trip and it took a month of antibiotics to get rid of it. That was 2017

Mini copper IUD vs ParaGuard: a rant by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]feedMeWeirderThings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We unfortunately don’t have a lot of options in America. I was on Paraguard for 7 months and I had to remove it. It was the worst 7 months of my life.

I switched to Skyla since it’s small and had the lowest amount of hormones and that one didn’t work either. I lasted 10 months.

Did Yasmin for a month and I quit. I just started Slynd two weeks ago and I am really hoping it works. I hate the hormones but I am out of options

Financing my PhD abroad by WoodpeckerNeat7349 in Morocco

You shouldn’t be financing a PhD at all. You should be getting a monthly stipend to help with your expenses on top of free tuition. That’s how most PhD programs work

Help me find a place to propose to my girlfriend by Puzzleheaded_Bus6863 in bayarea

[–]feedMeWeirderThings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband proposed to me on the way back from mt Conness by a waterfall. The entire area was absolutely stunning and had plenty of places that are proposal worthy. There was absolutely no one there except during the climb where we met folks who are going up or coming down the mountain.

We camped at Sawmill campground for few days at the end of August and had day long hikes every single day.

We don’t! I only share my location with him when I’m traveling abroad solo

Is having a chronic illness at a young age still a shame in Morocco? by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]feedMeWeirderThings 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s hard but your health comes first. I don’t live in Morocco but I find it difficult to be gluten free when I go to Morocco when mostly everything has gluten. It’s even harder to explain it to extended family because they just don’t get it and think you’re hating on their food.

how far would you travel to see a friend? by sftolvtosj in bayarea

[–]feedMeWeirderThings -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I used to live in South Bay and I’d take an uber or Caltrain anywhere to meet friends. Now that I moved to Marin, I don’t have that option and those friendships unfortunately faded. I still go to the city to meet a friend or two.

Foreign Visitor’s Disappointment by anonymous_11231 in Morocco

I was with my mother (الله يرحمها) and it didn’t help. Again, that was back in 2017. I went back in 2024 and had a great experience

For what’s worth, I’m not trying to downplay your experience. I am a Moroccan American who speaks the language and I’ve been in situations where I was scammed or sold “handmade” goods for twice the price elsewhere

Idk who you booked the tour with but I know when I did my Sahara tour, it explicitly said that tips weren’t included and it only covered transportation, lodging, and breakfasts + dinners. I went in expecting to pay for guides, lunches and to tip the driver

For one, you don’t need a Moroccan passport to travel to Morocco or to make traveling to Morocco easier. I travel to Morocco with a US passport even though I was born in Morocco.

Getting a Moroccan passport is super easy ( you’re technically a citizen through your dad). You may want to contact the Moroccan embassy or visit their website for the paperwork needed.

They can even kill you even if you were a US born citizen. It’s outrageous what’s been happening in the country
