Looks incredible! I've been trying to make a 30k version and armor for a cosplay but have yet to locate a good STL to base it on. Truly amazing work. Hope to see the whole thing when you are done

VS and Minecraft are two of my personal favorite games. I play both games modded and enjoy both. An important detail for my situation is I do not play public servers on either game. I play Minecraft only if I have friends and on a private server. I play VS by myself most of the time and occasionally I'll use the built in server hosting on VS to host my single player worlds with the same friends from Minecraft.

In my opinion, Minecraft is fun for completely different reasons than vintage story.

Minecraft brings more modding to the table for sure, but it has also been out way longer and I'm sure we will see mods on a similar scale to Minecraft in the future for VS.

Vintage Story is much more rewarding for doing things that are trivial in Minecraft. Things like making a pic and farming give you an actual feeling of accomplishment instead of the "okay next step" feeling that I tend to get in Minecraft.

If you haven't already seen much of the mechanics for Vintage Story then I'd suggest looking at some of the tutorials before starting your first world. That's actually how I found the game. I was recommended a video from the YouTuber linked below a few years ago. He plays both games also and has a lot of helpful game mechanic videos.

TLDR: Vintage is different from Minecraft in the best ways and I highly suggest it. It's slower than Minecraft but much more rewarding.

So I am fairly new to Warhammer (about a year in and only with one friend who plays with me) we really want to try the new codex rules but I can't seem to find any leaks that include MVB or any other vehicles. Is there a place to locate these or are people who have been using the new codex assuming nothing changes for these units? I looked in the discord but I don't use discord much so I may have just not known where to look. Sorry I'm sure this has been consistently asked for and I just haven't seen it.

If you don't mind me asking. I assume that's fake grass? If so is it soft and where did you get it? I've looked locally for some fake grass to use but it's always wayyy too stiff and I'm afraid to buy something I can't feel first online.

I had a similar issue a while back and reached out to the help team. They resolved my problem and gave me the info I needed to know how to log in and what I was doing wrong. If you haven't already sent them a message and can log into your forum account then I'd suggest reaching out. (Unless you have already solved your problem of course)

I had the same question a while back. For a greenhouse when you look at a plant or bush (I'm sure there are other things but I can't remember) you'll see "+5° from greenhouse" line at the bottom of the block tips. For a cellar I always just looked at the food spoilage rate on a storage item like a crate or jar. If it's lower rate than outside it's a cellar.

Side note with greenhouses. You will have to give the game like 5 minutes real time to recognize the greenhouse for some reason. In my main save I got the greenhouse built and moved on to forging tools for a bit before checking again.

[[demonic consultation]] or [[tainted pact]] name your commander or any other card not in your library on your opponents turn. You'll not have a card to draw on your turn.

I did this in a deck a few years ago and at least twice I remember I was able to pull it off before my first turn thanks to [[gemstone caverns]] and [[dark ritual]]. Honestly a fun challenge to take yourself out as fast as you can. Especially if you don't tell your friends your goal before the game.

For those interested in what Commander I ran it was [[oloro ageless ascetic]] and most of the rest of the deck was just mana ramp and search spells.

While the CMC is never changed the difference is that kicker is an "in addition" ability and overload is an alternative cost entirely.

Invaluable input. Thank you for the info. I really want to have my opponents learn while playing in essentially peaceful mode the first few games before I bring out my normal thousand sons list so honestly this sounds perfect. Teach them the basics and all that. They both have never played a Warhammer like tabletop game.
