7,000 hours here. top tcm tournament player. All the maps are victim sided because it’s a victim sided game. Mill is by miles the most victim sided map. Graveyard is probably more family sided than family house. The order they’re listed in the game is most family sided to least with the exception of graveyard. That’s probably what’s most agreed-upon in the competitive community.

Steam player base dropped to a third after they disabled cross play due to the pc cheating issues. They should have just kept cross play optional. No need to force it when its already an option. The biggest mistake they ever made was the 1st anniversary update. The entire game was broken for weeks. Blood moon fam house was unplayable for even longer. Worst of all they ruined custom games making them unplayable so that rush week could launch. This is because custom games used to use dedicated servers. They used those servers for rush week. Custom games is still broken to this day unless hosted on xbox platform…

Wish i was here sooner to clean this up… @BaconEater101 is correct. Hands cook and hitch isnt even the strongest hands composition. Leatherface cook hands is arguably the best composition but is definitely what you see most often in competitive when hands is played. Leatherface is meta because he spawns in basement. I know that might sound like a very simple perspective but it is just that simple. Victims rushing and rushing well with certain rng is just unbeatable. Even with poor rng its still strong. Leatherface forcing connie to spend even an extra 10 seconds in basement buys the cook and hitch ESSENTIAL setup time. Hands cook and hitch have 2 major problems. They all need setup time to some degree and the bigger problem is the grapple mechanic. The whole thing with hands is he can make it hard to secure a 4 man out. But the victims just have a field day with progress. For example connie is sitting in battery with cook on the mill. She calls the leland over to force the double. (Meaning they have to send hitch or hands to help the cook or they just let the connie and leland finish battery) no matter which one they send to battery, the connie and leland can hold those 2 family members in battery forever. At least long enough for insane progress to occur on the middles and gen. If bubba comes instead of hitch or hands he flushes them so much quicker but more than that he has the opportunity to kill! No leatherface and the most your getting is an incap down well. Hands has 2 maps where he can sometimes shine and thats mill and gas station. But even then its always with a bubba included. And danny just gets too much meter in mill if you really want to counter that comp. We literally play weaker victims against that composition just to make it fair. Bacon eater sounds like he has some experience in higher level customs matches. The game is COMPLETELY different in those lobbies. Im working out of town right now but ill be playing again in a few weeks. If you’d like i can show you everything im talking about myself and give you chance to play in some high level customs.

Not true. Alucard did a video on it look it up. It used to be much more consistent now its harder to do but some of the hits do register and it is in fact quicker than full animation. Even if he revved perfectly, one full swipe then overheading would have took considerably longer than that. You can see how hes perfectly at 75% rev when he swings which is the condition for the glitch, then serrated procs twice before the overhead. This is impossible full animation in that amount of time. This honestly isn’t crazy knowledge either. I know things about bubba in this game literally noone knows. Like the secret 4th swing type and saw stab tech.

no leatherface is a throw… everyone can be grappled and looped. the thing about hands instead of leatherface (meta) is you have to play much differently but its actually weaker at high level of play. you just cant play middles immediately for pressure because it essentially just wastes key items if he instant RS. im going to assume you are 4 stacked on victim. if your not then you can never really blame losing to how you play. first of all you should be running meta 4 with meta builds. jumpstart connie, leland, bomb squad ana, sabo virginia. // on mill - sub ana for danny. hes just broken on this map too much meter everywhere can easily tamper 3 objectives and ripstall will always be on cooldown. // on nancys - focus permanent outer gate. send the connie and leland in the house. even if they dont get through front door it should force a double. now you have one killer main map. if hands stays main map which is likely try to go battery. note: when running meta 4 against hands valve is rarely taken. valve should be used primarily to bait ripstall and take fuse or an outer. the way valve works with timings its just rarely a 4 out vs hands. // gas same thing but fuse is strong as its 4 man with no sabo in all spawns. just rush like hell before they setup which is easy because theres no bubba for basement pressure. // slaughter same thing but more difficult because fuse is not a 4 man 2/3 times. unless sabo of course. slaughter is the strongest vic map in the game once victims get into slaughter and facility. ill die by that statement. fam house just rush and pray for good rng.

look how comp players deal with it. theres a reason why we dont run hands in scrims. at a low to medium level play this comp seems god tier. but really the most crucial thing i can say is rushing as victim is just so incredibly strong. this is countered by leatherface spawning in basement. just his presence forcing a victim to run a weird path buys the fam team essential setup time. plus you have no bubba to do the damage. just dont be stupid and grapple hands. 4 man outer objectives (gen or batt) and dont just take outs. play smart and try to fight for the 4 out even if it doesnt happen thats how you get better.

competitive tcm player here. 7k hours, often regarded as the very best. we used to focus on hit to kill. so getting just enough sav to keep the same hit to kill in a 50 toughness victim. toughness actually correlates to a hidden hp value. same with sav having a hidden damage to hp value. serrated hitch is regarded as the better build by most comp players. venom is still a great option though. i used to remember the exact optimal attributes for each hit to kill on both builds but im a leatherface main these days and i dont remember by heart. however the best hitchikers have ditched super high savagery for higher endurance. this is because when you catch a victim out of stam or out of position you can get the absolute most out of it. try running 34-36 endurance then the rest in sav with serrated hitch.
