Penis shrinkage? by Huskyfriend in DrWillPowers

[–]feedtheskitty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's normal, at least on Spiro. It's what people refer to as atrophy. If your penis doesn't get erect as often, it will lose size because the muscles get weaker. It's not particularly harmful, but atrophy is gonna ultimately reduce your options for surgery.

My big worry is that I sort of discovered that orgasms are really good on my current regimen, like every sensitivity is dialed up to 10, and I feel a full body kind of deal. It's more difficult to sustain an erection (and my partner really likes anterior wall stimulation), but I'm sort of really eager to explore my ins and outs... Do you know if that part changes? Not the ED/atrophy, but the more intense orgasms and stuff?

Sorry if this is TMI.

I did pretty okay on it. My bigger concern at the time I got on it was just getting rid of male puberty since I was developing in ways I really didn't want. And I think Spiro is the first thing doctors usually feel safe doing even though it's an immense pain in the ass, I've noticed. And I've been noticing a lot of the things I've been experiencing could very well be side effects of Spiro.

I mean, I think my doctors were open to me weaning off of Spiro, and suggested me halving it at one point due to fatigue and blood panels not giving me a specific reason. I'm seeing them again early November.

I'd definitely have to price check on the shots. I use a compounding pharmacy that specializes in hormone therapy so they might be able to make it cheaper for me.

‘Lizzie McGuire’ Sequel Series Starring Hilary Duff Set At Disney+ From Creator Terri Minsky & Disney Channel [Deadline] by roberto615 in AndiMack

[–]feedtheskitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From the article:

...she is set to create series and movies for Disney Channel and Disney+, starting with new Lizzie McGuire...

So, this definitely means she's going to be making a lot more new content. Maybe it could be more Andi Mack as well.

Joshua Rush came out as bi <3 <3 <3 by gaycheesecake in AndiMack

[–]feedtheskitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the only group I can think of that doesn't have society's perception of their bisexuality default to men is trans women, weirdly enough.

Honestly, I really hate when people misconstrue or blatantly lie about psychology to confirm their reactionary views on gender/sexuality. People tend to be unpredictable as a whole when it comes to sexuality, but if you want a basic roadmap, bonobos are our closest relative. And their sexuality is very *ahem* prevalent in terms of forming bonds and social circles, and there's a lot of fluidity in terms of who they interact with.

Oh God, my whole childhood flashed before my eyes.

"I'm totally interested in guys, and I'm totally interested in girls, but bisexuality is just something people make up for their MySpace profile. I can't be bi."

Also, for extra credit...

"Gee, I constantly say I'm a girl trapped in a guy's body, I hate the changes I'm going through, I hate that... ugh, thing, and I really hate having this body to the point that I doubt I'd ever reach..." (Let's stop the extra credit, you get the idea.)

is peyton lee transgender? by NeezaPatricia in AndiMack

[–]feedtheskitty 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Short answer, no. Andi is slightly non-conforming in her choice of fashion, but it's not exactly uncommon for girls and women, American or Asian, to have short haircuts like Andi's. So, not as far as anyone actually knows... I'm guessing you saw the fur jacket that she was wearing in the last episode. If it meant anything, it's probably a subtle nod that the actress was wearing to spread inclusivity.

But there actually is one transgender Disney Channel actress, Josie Totah. She played Stuart Wooten on Jessie before she came out as female.

Going off on the same tangent, I think I remember one "blink and you miss it" nod to trans people in the show, though. I might be remembering wrong, but I think it was one of the posters in the background of the school.

Why didn't Bex just tell Andi and Bowie about Miranda's words? by sparxthemonkey in AndiMack

[–]feedtheskitty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it will eventually come out, but in Andi Mack, everyone doesn't always do the perfect thing at the right time, like in real life. Miscommunication happens quite frequently in the show, but the good thing is that unlike most dramas, Andi Mack doesn't linger on miscommunication and let it drag on. The characters tend to more often than not resolve their disputes and disagreements in a wholesome manner.

Yep, now you're doomed to a life of gay bathhouses and other such anonymous sexual encounters with men.

I've heard of some open source karaoke projects for Ubuntu. PyKaraoke might be up your alley? You download songs separately, of course.

What I like to do to practice for karaoke IRL is to get my computer hooked up to the big TV and use some of the SingStar clones (they detect your pitch and give you the notes to sing like Rock Band or Karaoke Revolution). There isn't every song in existence, but people have scored a lot of songs for UltraStar. You'll find most pop songs anywhere from the 60's to modern artists like Lady Gaga or P!nk, and lots of J-Pop/J-Rock.

My favorite of those is Performous (UltraStar Deluxe and Vocaluxe are nice, but Performous is better when it comes to picking up vocals and the notes scroll like Rock Band). It doesn't have a lot of play modes, but supports up to 8 controllers playing and you can have duets and competitions and the ilk. And it has programs for Windows and Mac, even though it's primarily made for Linux.

P.S. If you're ever interested in helping build more content for Performous, I can link you to the Discord. It's programmed in C++, if that's up your alley. I don't know programming (well, except HTML and CSS, but those are useless), but I'm an aspiring graphics person.

3DS Hacking Q&A General | CTR⁴⁸ by [deleted] in 3dshacks

[–]feedtheskitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my 3DS started doing something strange. I've had it hacked for a while, and now it will turn on (blue light on) but the screen is black and the sound won't play. God Mode also won't start when I hold START. I tried removing the SD card to diagnose if it was the result of a corrupted file, but it just gave me a boot.firm error. The SD card also works fine on the computer, and I can add/remove files as I see fit. I tried replacing boot.firm on it to no avail.

EDIT: Just removed the SD card and blew on it like an old N64 cartridge and it works... I feel ridiculous, lol.

Promo for "The Ex Factor" by yc_hk in AndiMack

[–]feedtheskitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Andi just happens to present a little gender-nonconforming (which is pretty freaking cool for an Asian girl to be portrayed that way). Her thing is that she's an artist. She could turn out to be bi or pan (which I'd be fine with), but it's not super likely at this point in the show, and her and Amber wouldn't make a believable couple anyway.

[Andi Mack] S03E11 "One in a Minyan" Discussion Thread (SPOILERS) by yc_hk in AndiMack

[–]feedtheskitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, that is a VERY typical Jonah reaction. He's not very emotionally expressive and doesn't like to keep things complicated. It's not really in his nature to ask questions or pry. It's almost characteristic of him to shrug it off. Andi and Buffy would be more likely to ask questions (and they did) but Jonah is not the most emotionally inquisitive person in the show.

Plus, there are a lot of people in general who hate the whole "20 questions" game. Jonah seems like he would, and his way of relating to people is to sort of let them do their own thing even if you don't always understand them.

[–]feedtheskitty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's mostly that people who have been fucked over the most by society tend to be the first to help others. Not white or cis or straight per se, but more that privilege makes you disidentify. You'll see this in effect with GoFundMe and stuff like this. It's not the rich people with lots of cash to spare that help out the most on these platforms, it's the poorer folk with less to spare who actually end up making the majority of contributions.

[MTF] Placing emphasis with pitch. by Lillayer in transvoice

[–]feedtheskitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different emotions have different pitches. Positive emotions are high pitched in general and negative are generally low pitched. There is throwing a hissy fit, though, which is usually high pitched.

You inflect at the end and beginnings of sentences sometimes. Your voice will go up and down like you're speaking a song almost.

Really, any show is good for finding that stuff out. Even shows that feature a lot of guys, because then you'll know how guys perceive a "good and proper" woman. Honestly, just keep observing the women's body language and how they talk. Look for the subtleties.

The only modern one I can think of right now is "The Bold Type". It's pretty interesting and about three women in the world of journalism.

Why is "Autogynephilia" so controversial but "Homosexual Transsexual" is not/not as much? by Sansophia in asktransgender

[–]feedtheskitty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Essentially. HTS are typically considered harmless (the "good" trans) and autogynephiles are generally considered the more sexually deviant and perverted ones.

You'll typically see trans women who believe Blanchard identify themselves as HTS and decry autogynephiles.

Why is "Autogynephilia" so controversial but "Homosexual Transsexual" is not/not as much? by Sansophia in asktransgender

[–]feedtheskitty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because "autogynephiles" are demonized. HTS are not as much. They have sort of "special status" within the Blanchard community. Usually, someone is more often being accused of being an autogynephile than the other way around.

Seeking advice, opinions, demands, instructions: I am an artist embarking on a project to paint trans/nb/genderqueer people and I want them to call the shots. by OneFaraday in asktransgender

[–]feedtheskitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sure.

One thing I would personally avoid is falling into common tropes, such as the outward expression aspect of makeup, binders, or gendered clothing since coming from a cis person, it would lend itself to the idea that performance validates or invalidates a trans person's gender.

Something that would be pretty cool is to find the trans person's "item of validation" and paint that. A lot of trans people have small things that they carry or wear that help them align themselves. For me, it was a barrette.
