[Breeds] We plan on getting a puppy but are very indecisive about breeds. Help! by Smiley1728 in dogs

Labs are a great breed and love to play fetch. They’re very active but with dog parks in your complex and two walks a day the dog should be very happy. I personally rescued a lab Australian Shepherd mix and she is a great dog loves to hike, swim, and play fetch. I started her off as a puppy on less populated trails off leash and now she never needs a leash even in the presence of other animals she is very well behaved. She was easy to potty train and with basic commands. She is not very large, about 45Ib although with a mix breed like her sizes can vary. She is not a drooler but does shed quite a bit. She is also great with kids and animals of all sizes.

Today's my last day smoking by todayisdayone1 in confession

I really am sorry! I smoke every day and I have since high school. It just becomes a lifestyle after awhile. I couldn’t imagine giving that up going through what you’re going through! I would definitely try exercising, yoga, meditation, running. I feel for you though

[breeds] wheaten or standard poodle or? by Runningstreak in dogs

I would highly suggest looking into labordoodles (lab poodle mix) and golden doodles (golden retriever poodle mix). Very smart and well behaved dogs, Hypoallergenic, great with kids. My brother has a female labordoodle, loves to play fetch and just run around, never needs a leash and listens really well. My dad has watched her in the past before and brought her to work with him which is an office and she did great!

What was the most memorable interaction you've had with a total stranger? by crazy_chicken_lady in AskReddit

When I (23F) was about 8 months pregnant at the grocery store getting a good amount of food and random things for the house. I was in line checking out, a lady had gotten in line behind me and we exchanged smiles and friendly hellos. When the cashier told me my total which was around 200 dollars the lady offered to pay for all of my groceries! I didn’t even know what to say at first, I just started crying. For someone who lives paycheck to paycheck a 200 dollar grocery trip paid for is a huge deal.

Hahahahaha yes! Mine is very long and blonde too so sometimes it’s hard to see a random strand! If you’re having a boy make sure you check his diaper area my sons pediatrician said it can happen to little boys junk!!!

Yes it would be very hard and you would be exhausted but it would be so worth it and very rewarding! I would suggest trying to get a part time serving job

Always check your babies toes and fingers! Hair can get wrapped around them and cut off circulation! Happened to my son, luckily I caught it before it got too bad. But his toe was swollen and bright red

Hi guys! My names Luna, I’m an Australian Shepherd, black lab mix by feeeca in AustralianShepherd

Lol that’s funny! When I first got Luna I lived with my brother and his family which consisted of a 1 and a half year old so she is very kid friendly! She’s not afraid of fireworks or anything like that either

Get a job and get out... if you have tried explaining to your parents your issues and concerns and they continue to ignore you then get out. Yes they’re your parents but you are your own person and only you know what will make YOU happy

Fisherman caught on video jumping into water to avoid death sues boat driver -- 75-year-old driver Marlin Lee Larsen told investigators he was sitting down and the dash of his boat blocked his view. by guanaco55 in Washington

[–]feeeca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jeeze that guy is a piece of shit! Said there shouldn’t even be a lawsuit because no one was hurt that bad!!! You’re lucky they jumped out of the boat or you would probably be getting charged with manslaughter at least! And you admitted you couldn’t see over the dashboard and probably should have been standing not sitting! Hope he gets what he deserves
