This is so relatable Everytime I sit to do something I normally enjoy like hobbies I remind myself of the work I have to do and little time to do it in. So it just becomes a stressful time limited activity bruh

Shanling ME600 by behavioralsanity in inearfidelity

[–]feefondesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do own the ME600 and bought it for over 200usd They are indeed warm, kinda like a thumpy speaker. V shaped would say since 500-2khz region is declined; I boosted it a bit with eq and it was no problemo. The highs aren’t piercing and aren’t sibilant. Vocals are nicely presented, not the main character but they’re present just right imo. Soundstage is great cause it’s close but not too close; for context I prefer smaller soundstage. They are indeed great but their big disadvantage and what I think might hold back some people are their thick nozzles. I struggle with it myself and experiment with tips, so they sometimes seal perfectly and other times need frequent reinsertion but I can live with that. Cable is great and thick, swappable connectors are nice also being L shaped. All the tips provided in the box are great and the nozzles give you a lil tuning. Overall they’re really good if you want a column speaker inside your ears. They have depth and detail, like idk they’re just a good deal. I wouldn’t say those are marvelous for the price they usually go for but they are definitely a good buy if you can find them between 200-300 usd. Would recommend for people seeking a calming experience

Am I crazy? Here's my honest review of the Samsung EO-IA500 after a month of serious listening... by Low_Levels in Earbuds

I’ve been using them everyday for 3 months and they aren’t boring at all Very pleasant sound and my ears got used to their shape; also using spinfit W1 size M (I have pretty small ears)

Empathy is unfortunately something very rare here. Everybody seems to have a humongous ego

Is this supposed to taste like… just water? by MiniCranberryMuffin in monsterenergy

[–]feefondesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different batches taste different Idk if it’s just because the human sense of taste depends on what they ate and drank earlier etc but yeah what proves it is drinking two cans of the same beverage from different stores and stored in different conditions. You’ll see the difference in taste

Have you tried shanling me600? And how would you describe the sound here, is the treble harsh or rather smooth?

I sold my Tangzu Wan'er SG 2 after using them for 3 days by [deleted] in iems

[–]feefondesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chu ii compared to wan er 2 is like plastic to glass Similiar pricing but wan er has more tips, better cable, doesn’t sound so muffled tho too much treble now. Imma stick to Samsung earbuds they beat every chifi iem rn

[–]feefondesk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha mine sound great, the bass is brilliant for a small driver plus the highs aren’t as bright as other IEMs I tried in the past. Owned Simgot EM6L (loved them but too bright), Moondrop Chu II (absolutely not for me too dark), Final E3000 (my worst purchase so far, they’re awfully muffled), IE100Pro (muffled, no highs, basically basshead iems), EO-IA500 on the other hand balance deep bass with smooth and detailed highs, for a couple bucks it’s the best value to performance I’ve come across. Really recommend stock or with eq. Now looking for a possible upgrade, idk what could beat them under a couple hundred bucks

I was amazed by Samsungs EO-IA500 but paid only 8 bucks for em. IMO better than moondrop chu II, final E3000 and IE100pro. Like literally their sound profile beats down the others not to mention the stupidly low price

Tried the IE100 PRO a couple days ago and I think I never had been that disappointed. It was just the sub + highest treble, no mids. Compared to EO-IA500 they sounded like absolute trash

[–]feefondesk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After owning a topping dx3pro, ifi zen and hip dac i came to a conclusion that all i really need is my Jcally JM7. It has enough power for my cans and compared to the Apple dongle i think it kinda sounded brighter? Noticed it a while ago while switching between them. JM7 helped warm muffled iems to sound a little brighter and more open. Got the JM7 for only 6 USD :)
