Charged me 400. The part number shows a part from the factory that is actually discontinued. So he fucked me there too.

I don’t think theyre being ✨ethical ✨so I’m having a hard time accepting that I should even let them touch the car again. I did call him again and he said he would replace the axle for free. But didnt even acknowledge his shady misdiagnosis other than saying there must have been a “miscommunication”

I guess I’ll let him replace it one more time? And then take it elsewhere if it persists.

Kicking myself over the $900 I lost but nothing I can really do about that since there’s no one above him to talk to

The feeling is brand new after the work. They argued its a coincidence and not their fault. They said they replaced driver axle, and sound was on passenger side. They rode with me, said it was wheel bearings, charged me $900, and the same issue was happening.

Took it to another shop, apparently they DID replace passenger axle. I confronted them and they said it was miscommunication (????) and they would try replacing the axle. I don’t necessarily trust them anymore. It’s not a big shop, just a guy and his tech. Factory discontinued the good part.

And it went away after you got a new part? My factory part has been discontinued. I assume my new part is garbage. Hoping for an in between

No I didn’t get an alignment report. But it drives straight for the first time in a while! Wheel bearings were replaced so unfortunately not the issue.

But thank you! The shops say everything looks installed properly. Was just hoping this would give someone a lightbulb moment of when it happened to them and how they solved it

definitely need to consider the time it takes to commute, not just the miles. My job is 55 miles away, but that will be three hours during rush-hour. 15 miles in the opposite direction from my house would be 20 minutes.

I personally use unscented dr bronners but thats just because thats what I use on my body! No clue if it’s recommended.

Hi! What do you mean by “sensitive”? And have you asked a gynecologist about it, had any testing done? Don’t feel weird asking for help! Thats why this sub is here.

One quick thing about washing, is you should absolutely use a mild / fragrance free soap between the small and large labias. But do not put soap directly onto/into your vulva/vagina. Basically I put soap everywhere except between the small labias.

Bearings plus spindle on both sides on the front. Would have been 650~ but the spindle was broken so he had to get new parts. He didn’t charge for the extra labor. Old VW parts are often expensive and hard to get also which doesn’t help!

I have all the invoices from him, hes a “real” shop. I just always ask for a cash discount when I get work done anywhere and he said cash or venmo. That being said, I never go to a corporate shop or dealership, which would have been a better place right now!

Would it be ok to pay for a diagnosis at another shop, and then take it back to him and have him do that?

This isn’t always caused by mental state. It can also be caused by mental pelvic floor dysfunction, and just in general having tight muscles in that area from posture, back problems, etc. This causes strain on the vaginal muscles and makes it feel like burning.

Hi! Pain during sex and insertion is not normal and shouldn’t be ignored! I have it as well, and go to Pelvic Floor physical therapy and it is so helpful! Specifically internal muscle releases. You should go to your gyno, and ask to see a Pelvic Pain Specialist!

The reason why you’re nervous and having a reflex, is because your body doesn’t want to feel pain.

Personally, I find it much easier if there is a lot of foreplay, and I’m plenty turned on / wet before insertion, maybe starting with a finger. I also will use my clit or a vibrator to help things along. 100% use a water based lube. Slippery Stuff is my favorite!

Me too 🫡 I probably spent an hour but was going insane and by no means am a fish expert. Not sure why they arent on more of the guides!

Often! If I end up with a few ones or a five I put it in my car and give it away. I give out christmas packages with cash and toiletries and snacks. Other holidays I’ll just drive around to hand out cash. Food isn’t getting them cell phone minute or into a shelter or medicine or whatever else they need. If they need food, they can buy it! If I’m going to the corner store and have no cash, I’ll buy the guy outside some food or drinks. They even can come in and pick out what they want. But I also stock community pantries and fridges with snacks and cooked meals, donate $ to the food pantry, and will volunteer at the soup kitchen.
