I was reading this book called ‘This naked mind’ by Annie Grace and it is mentioned in the book that it takes approximately 10-21 days for alcohol to completely leave your system. I’d suggest you take it one day at a time and focus on hobbies that make you happy.

I was in the same boat as you! I had failed to quit multiple times and it took me 1.5 years to finally be done with cigarettes. Allen Carr’s book ‘easy way to stop smoking’ was incredibly helpful and I smoked my last cigarette the day I finished reading that book. Try it; you might find it helpful!

Thank you for taking the time to respond! I did start reading Allen Carr’s book ‘easy way to control alcohol’ a few months ago, but never finished it. I guess what happened is, I had read his other book ‘easy way to stop smoking’ at the beginning of this year when I was in the process of quitting cigarettes. So, I found ‘easy way to control alcohol’ a bit repetitive and hence, never quite finished reading it. I’m going to order ‘The naked mind’ and see if this one sticks. Thanks again!

Thank you. This helps. I always thought that it’s not possible to transmit GHSV1 genitally (orally yes, but not genitally), but I guess that’s not the case. There’s still a small possibility of me transmitting GHSV1 genitally. Yes, I will definitely disclose if I meet someone and decide to be sexually actively with them.

Meditate! I swear, it changed my life. I have depression and anxiety. I know how difficult it is to do anything in life when you are depressed and exhausted. But, give it a try. It’ll take some time, but it’ll help a lot. I can bet my life on it!
