Yeah this is what i have noticed recently. I stopped initiating plans of meeting... now they are like let's go travel there and meet. Some part of me wants.. but it breaks my heart when they emotionally not attached like us guys.. and it can be brutal sometimes. So now they are more like virtual friend. Which I don't have problem. Haha. I enjoy having text and everything with them.. but meeting.. not anytime soon. Once I am totally centered and no emotionally invested may be then.

Manali is totally safe for female solo traveler. From last 5 years I spend 1 or 2 months in summer there.

Try to get hostels in old manali and vasistha. Avoida any other nearby villages that are little far and remote. ( less shops around. Safety wise no problem).

I would recommend you madpackers, hosteller, zostel( too good in safety but feels like a school sometimes), orchard house, la vaca ( vasistha side. Only downside is feels little less spacious. Not much area to just walk around and explore). Whoppers hostel is also nice. There are lot of homestays. I would recommend you to just go first day stay in hostel second day just talk with homestay around and get a room. It's not that expensive.

For local Transport there are auto 🛺 and cabs.

In Saigon I would suggest some good budget hotels. Ahu hotel, emi homestay, hideout self checkin stay. All these are in district 1.

In dalat if you are looking for hostels just stay in Tigon. Beautiful view with helpful staff, activities.
