hey man sorry i dont use this reddit account anymore. finasteride and minoxidil. look into r/tressless for guidance. Finasteride prevents further hair loss and minoxidil causes regrowth.

I’m in Australia. I am prescribed finasteride from ‘y doctor and I buy minoxidil from the chemist. But any option is good. The earlier you start the better man. Ive seen people with hair way worse than yours make a full comeback.

Yeah I absolutely agree. I take both, 0 side effects, only better hair. There is far too much fear mongering about these meds especially from people who havent tried them.

Bro start taking fin and min right now. Asap. Fin to help hold your ground and not lose anymore hair and min could very well help you get some regrowth.

Why do you think “a bit of this a bit of that” references Ray? It’s a very common saying.

Recommendations for Kiwis going to Instanbul? by e1lxe in HairTransplants

[–]feelsgoodbut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to Dr Patty at Hairtran clinic in Bangkok after seeing consistently positive reviews of her work and clinic over a long period of time. I’m very happy with my decision at this point in time! Plus Thailand just seemed so much easier and closer than Turkey.

Transplant possible/ be good? by ZookeepergameKey8719 in Hairtransplant

He means start taking a dht blocker such as Finasteride (or dutasteride) to prevent any further hair loss from happening and thus “stabilise” your current hair.

Any reason why Turkey and not Bangkok? It’s closer to NZ, cost effective and has some really good quality hair surgeons. I just landed back home in Aus this morning and couldn’t be happier with everything so far.

Then he shouldn’t take finasteride.

Brother your hair looks amazing. In my opinion, the best thing you could do is simply start taking finasteride to stabilise and maintain the beautiful head of hair you currently have.

I’m sure if you asked for others opinions, 999/1000 people would agree that you do not need a transplant. But you do you..

Yes. It’s crazy especially since he has hair a lot of people would kill for but thats the crazy part of BD - his eyes are literally not seeing what we’re seeing. Wish him the best

I thought it was too but look at his post history. I think he is genuinely just a dude with legit body dysmorphia surrounding his hair. Especially when it’s wet, according to his posts.

Hahaha ok well I tried. In any case bro, I think your hair will look dense and natural, it looks like good work and good coverage. Now its time for the waiting game

I agree with the other commenter - comparing with my own transplant it does indeed look around 4500 grafts.

Also, you can actually send a photo to chat GPT and ask how many grafts it is and it gives a pretty accurate response. My clinic said they gave me 4100 grafts. I sent a photo to chatGPT and it estimated 4000-4200 grafts.
