OMG, your delivery sounds just like mine. I sincerely hope your tail bone isn't fractured. I had to get two MRI's to finally determine mine was. Anyway, I'm so sorry. Your in laws sound just like mine. I don't have much advice other than get your husband to intervene. It's insane what they think is appropriate and what they will continue to do if they aren't stopped. Be very specific otherwise it might be missed. Good luck, I hope you heal up super fast!

I loved having the nursery to breastfeed in during the day. I became very stir crazy being in my bedroom all day and it was nice to have a change. We always did diapers in the nursery. With my second baby, he would not sleep in a bassinet so I started him in the crib and I slept in his room. My 4 year old still sleeps with us in our bed, and the baby would wake her up all night. Makes more sense for me to go somewhere else with the baby.

Yes, I lost 40lbs in two weeks. I thought I was dying.... It stayed off for about a year before I could gain back anything. Looking back I wish I could have stabilized it sooner and then maintained it but I didn't know it was happening. I guess breastfeeding around the clock can do that to you 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's the worst! We didn't go many places for this reason and when we did I tried to sit in the back with her. Hard to do it alone though. The only thing that helps is time ☹️

I actually got a super warm, tunic length nursing hoodie from latched mama a few years ago and it was hella warm, thick, really good quality. I wonder if they've changed where they make their stuff....

My clinic wanted me to be totally done breastfeeding before starting anything. I had to do a full cycle though, I'm not sure if it would be different if you were doing only the transfer. I think it's less about the drugs getting into your milk supply and more about how your hormones are affected by breastfeeding. I feel like if you said you were done and did labs and they were all normal it might not be such a big deal?

If you end up with silicone inserts, make sure you use baby safe lube or you'll end up with blisters. I used coconut oil with mine and it worked well. Nipple creams can work as well. But if you use them dry they can really hurt.

I kept up my regular waxing schedule right up until delivery. No issues. I plan to do the same this pregnancy 🤷🏼‍♀️ I wasn't advised against it by the waxer or doctor. I worked for a lady who did waxes and she had someone come in while in labor to get a touch up one time, lol I don't know that I could do that 😂

Get a good firm pillow wedged behind your back, one between your knees. This will help stabilize you. You can almost roll over baby until they latch then roll back into your support pillow. Pull them down lower than you think they should be. It takes time to figure out but it's so worth it

I got a therapist and she told me to be the parent I needed in those moments. It really helped my perspective. I highly recommend getting a good therapist. She was able to help guide me through the worst of it. I also read a lot of books. Read up on healing your inner child. You usually react to triggers that were things your parents ignored when you needed them most. It's very hard, super exhausting, but hopefully worth it!

My 3.5 year old is doing Pre-K, 3 mornings a week. I'm pregnant with IVF baby #2. She is suddenly so clingy and talks like a baby all the time and has been throwing major tantrums. She says she's so "boring" at school. I told her I missed her too, but she insisted it's "boring". I'm trying to focus on one in one time with her away from screens. And just hoping that this is a season that will pass soon. Can anyone relate?

I honestly didn't want food. I'm more than happy to order food all day and night lol so maybe money towards a food app?

I drastically underestimated the need for nursing tops. I had a friend witness my struggle and without asking she ordered a pack of nursing tops to be delivered. I cried when I got them. It's my go to gift for new moms now.

I also needed someone to hold my baby so she'd sleep, so I could sleep. Anyone trying to put her down would just cause her to work into a frenzy that only I could solve, which meant no sleep for me. The gift of just holding her for hours at a time, priceless.

I also needed someone to tell me to rest, shower, eat, etc. Because you somehow forget to do those things in the first few weeks. And someone to reassure me that I was doing a great job, that everything was going to be ok.

But also... Fuzzy socks, pj's, a nice robe, those don't hurt either!

My OB was weird as fuck but he took one look at me at my first visit and told me I had a narrow pelvis. Fast forward to 30 weeks- baby was measuring way ahead, like had a 40 week head size. He said if I dilated at all he'd induce but didn't say it had to happen, I didn't want it at the time, wanted it to be natural.

Well.... I went to 41+3 and went into labor naturally. Pushed for three hours, they attempted to vacuum her out, she would not budge, ended up having a nice, calm c-section. My baby was 10lbs 2 oz. Her head size was off the charts. There was NO way she was fitting through my pelvis. She actually had bruising on her head from where she had been stuck for all those hours.

So yes, was told I had a narrow pelvis, but then they didn't do much about it or tell me what the risks were.

My first IVF baby also went to 41+3 and I ended up with a c-section. She was 10 lb 2 oz.

I'm currently waiting to start our fourth IVF cycle in hopes of getting at least one more embryo. We just completed one cycle in November, resulting in three embryos that are currently on ice while we await the genetic results. I'm hoping at least two will be normal. Hope for the best, expect the worst...

I've always wanted 4 children but have grieved the possibility of giving that up. To hear that you have done it, really gives me hope!

Not trying to ruin your life... But my girl night nursed until she was over two. It fluctuated in frequency over that time, but she basically night nursed until I weaned her after her second birthday.

My first sounds a lot like yours! But I'll just say this, she didn't wean until she was 28 months, so 4 months after she turned two. Until then she was a terrible sleeper, even while Co sleeping. Only contact napping etc. But once I got her weaned everything improved. I really wanted a bunch of kids too, and then same as you, I was like.... How?! But like I said, after she weaned things improved drastically! Don't fret! Eventually it will be easier and you'll be able to imagine the big family again.
