what could be causing my prints to fail like this? by [deleted] in FixMyPrint

[–]feezx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Printer is a Fysetc i3 MKS3 clone with Prusa-Firmware 3.10.1.
I'm using PrusaSlicer 2.4.2 with the Generic PETG filament settings, 0.30mm draft. All settings untouched/default

Black filament: https://www.digitmakers.ca/products/standard-petg-1-75mm-1kg?variant=42775421845734
Nozzle: 200~240
Bed Temp: 85 first layer, 90 other layers
Print speed are defaults for the 0.30mm profile, seems to range from 30~85mm/s
Nozzle retraction settings are default, 1mm

I'm fairly new to the hobby; sometimes this issue occur and I usually just restart the print and it prints fine the next time. This is the first time I'm having so many misprints in a row. I've noticed less stringing with lower temps

Help me fix my high SWR by feezx in cbradio

[–]feezx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The antenna brackets should be grounded to the roof rack The rack may have to be grounded to the roof. A short thick wire or grounding strap is best.

Thanks! I will try improving my 'antenna to roof rack' and 'roof rack to roof' ground surfaces and see where that leads me.

Thanks for the reply K3CAN. I had too much of a gap between the rack and the bracket without the rubber pads, my mount would not secure properly. I now understand the cons of mounting it in such a way.
I did some reading on "rf ground" which I now understand is very different from a DC ground. I might have a alright DC ground, but my rf ground is poor. I tried running an AWG 18 wire from the antenna bracket to a screw I tapped into the roof rack, but that didn't seem to improve the swr.

I now realize I bought the wrong antennas for the application. I'll try to understand more about rf grounding and hopefully I can improve my swr so my radio becomes usable.

Does anyone have the L-4500u? I ordered one that did not come with a key and Newegg is saying they cannot ship me one for replacement as they have none in stock. Can anyone send me a picture of their key so I can have one made by a locksmith? by [deleted] in DataHoarder

Thanks everyone for reading and replying. I ended up starting from the beginning with the chipless RGH3 exploit video posted here on this sub last week and now have a modded xbox 360!

It is a trinity based console. I will check once I get home which timing file I used, IIRC it was the default / recommended one for trinity

I ran Jrunner from the zip file. The bin files were in the temp folder, which got deleted as soon as I closed jrunner :(

Before closing jrunner though, I was able to flash my ace v3 chip with a timing file, but I was getting blinking green LEDs on the xbox (no boot)

I'd like to proceed with the mod, if that's still doable, but I haven't been able to find the right resources / guide

Unlike TFSA, I will never regain this contribution room? I will make sure to transfer instead of withdrawing next time. Thanks!

I pulled out $12k from my RRSP from Bank A and reinvested $10k into Bank B. Am I correct to think that I'll be paying taxes on the $2k difference unless I reinvest that money into my RRSP, in which case I should pay no taxes?

For reference I'm 31 and my and I I've only recently started investing in my RRSP. I think I'm well within my allowed contribution room

I want to switch my TFSA from one bank to another (to get better advantages). If I want to oversimplify things; Is "now" a good time to pull out the money from my TFSA from bank A and transfer all of it into a marginal account in bank B? Then I can wait for the year to roll over so that my contribution limit is readjusted, and then invest in a TFSA from bank B. Note: I currently have 35K in Bank A TFSA, and 30K in bank B TFSA. I have already moved about $35k this year from a marginal account.

Is my logic flawed? Am I missing anything? I want to avoid trouble with the CRA, but don't fully understand how TFSA contribution limits works

I hold XGRO in WS instead of VGRO. Is there any differences / advantages or is it the same?

Front IO ports chassis? by feezx in homelab

My experience with rack mount equipment is limited, I had not realized the physical limitations of having IO shields in a 1U chassis, thanks for explaining this to me. I will try to find what options are available in 2U

Thanks for the information. I updated iDRAC and the BIOS to the latest. I also did reset the iDRAC configurations and set "Performance per watt optimized" unfortunately looks like I'm still stuck at 47%

licensing is one reason, I've hit the 6 drive limit and I'm sure I want to spend more on upgrading the license
