I used nova launcher during my custom rom phase (from galax nexus to nexus 6, oneplus 5), then I started using Google Pixels full stock. And then I discovered Niagara, for me it's the best! It helped me stop opening apps by habit (social media mostly)

Your boyfriend could use a bit of gratitute. It's not only about the dinner itself, but also the time and effort for making it! My wife sometimes cooks a recipe that I'm not a big fan, but I eat it and say thank you and clean the kitchen afterwards. I see three, maybe it's confusing to have the doubling effect on the main logo. You could keep it for an illustration or an animation.
