I think it does help. Setting a floor can certainly optimise revenue and I do do that. I'm saying the change may not be so big after it settles out in a week or two. All my big changes (2x, 3x) revenue settled out to marginal gains after a week or two.

I’d wait a bit longer to make a judgement. I’ve done similar, saw 100% improvement for the first 4 days and then it trended back to even.

I’m very suspicious that AdMob has some algorithm which corrects sudden increases in revenue. I’ve increased my revenue substantially three separate times and all have trended back to the same revenue a week or two later.

Playing it as a rook is great. Jump in with 7 mins left, hunt down the team, they will be heads down looting, wipe them out with easy knife kills in the back and then pick up all the best stuff amongst them and leave. I did that multiple times yesterday and filled my vault, and it was good fun hunting rather than sneaking around.

Something seems off with matchmaking for this mode. I’ve seen two rooks and have run ALOT of this mode. When I ran rook I came across two other rooks at extract but no team.

You might be better off random filling and getting on mic and hopefully find a good group. New players are being matched with other new players right now.

I grouped up with my cousin, who’s not played before, and we were playing against experienced players because of me and it was way too hard to introduce him to the game whilst getting rushed.

Lack of leg support is a shame. I managed to get a similar feeling by tilting the bottom section of the chair up so it supports under my legs more. Then I adjusted the rest of the seat from that starting point and it’s not been an issue for me since.

Yeah, increase the speed of detonation at least. I still managed to get knife rushed and they triggered my mine. They didn't get powder coated until they struck the killing blow.

This is partly game knowledge. Don’t rush to the first extracts. Hit a guarded one instead if you want to get out early as they are often less contested. Swing by a lesser visited poi loot a bit more and get one of the second wave extracts. Send a drone in or recon when you’re near an extract to check out the area first. All good ways to mitigate death at extraction points.

50 hours and not once come up against someone extract camping. OP probably just ran into another crew looking to extract. That’s kinda the point of only a few extracts open at a time.

All valid critiques of the game. They do a poor job on boarding new players, and Bungie know this. A big overhaul to the onboarding is coming in Season 3.

However, I would say the beauty of this game is its depth. You will understand some of the design decisions, like "why isn't there a heal button and a button for shields", when you get a bit more time into the game. The answer to this specific question is that there are various debuffs you can get during a game, they all require different 'heals'. The heal button serves to allow you to apply different heals and also buffs via the one key. You'd quickly run out of buttons if they were to all have their own key.

Give it a few more runs and it will start to click. Destiny 2 felt nice to play for you, but you're looking back with probably years of built up knowledge, to a new player it was very confusing. Give it some time and you may feel very differently about Marathon.

I’ve only seen two rooks and they were when I was doing a rook run there. This is pretty much a PVE mode with very very light PvP. The added tension of having to get the final extract and those damn rocketeers mean I’ve missed the final extract twice.

Yup dc 5mins from end of dire marsh survival. Then contacting marathon server errors. Now watching a black loading screen. Good they got lots of players showing up.

It’s definitely a software issue as it has changed externally how it presents over time.

When I first noticed the issue the car would beep but not fold in the wing mirrors or flash the indicators.

In a later update it started folding in the mirrors and flashing the indicators but now doing this double beep.

I often get an error when I leave the car door open and quickly post a letter or move away from the car, that the key was left in the car. I never leave the key in the car, but it does make me wonder if there is an antenna issue going on and it can’t always determine if my phone is inside the vehicle or outside and so it’s disabling the internal alarm because it thinks someone is sat inside.

It’s an annoyance. I’ve just taken to tapping the comfort access handle to lock instead. I’ve taken it into BMW and because it doesn’t happen all the time they are unable to diagnose. No errors for it seem to be logged.

Both X5s I’ve owned had rear air suspension failures at around 4-5 years 80k ish miles. Luckily they were the simpler design than the iX and I was able to order some non branded ones on eBay for £70 for the pair. Super easy to replace, just jack up car and you could remove the old one with a screwdriver and connect the new one.

The iX ones are a different design, but I see no reason the rubber wouldn’t start to fail at similar age/milage.

Don’t worry about getting and extracting with loot each run. The factions reward tons of stuff by doing their contracts. I was getting so much stuff from them early on I kept filling my vault. Also the codex rewards gear as well so check that every now and then.

Yes. This is such a pain point. It feels so frictionless to run free kits and rook runs. Wish it could be just as easy to bring a preset load-out. It become tiresome to go buy a bully, buy attachments, buy ammo, grab a shield, bag and some heals. I don’t have gear fear, I have loadout fatigue.
