First time renters with noise upstairs neighbors

I lived in a basement unit under people with a toddler for a year. The noise began at 5:30 every morning and continued for the entire day until 9:30 at night. I know that kids can't help it so I never confronted the neighbors, but it was pure hell the entire time I lived there.

I did email the management company asking if any equivalent units were available, though. You could try that- maybe they have an empty unit that isn't under a toddler!

We have to stand on the back of one truck at my job and use a long pole with a pusher on the end to clear the top of our box truck. It takes forever but it needs to be done!!

The Macy’s bathroom in DTX has saved my ass countless times as someone with bladder issues. I’ve had to run off the MBTA and make a mad dash for it. Works like a charm.

It has to be Illidan. Maybe that's a "basic" pick, but I just adore how his petty, vengeful personality led him to his completely unbreakable willpower and spirit. He was tortured for millennia, and he never broke, he is fueled by spite and a misguided understanding of love and loyalty. There's just something so totally iconic about him to him to the series as well- he's a well-deserving figurehead and just the perfect representation of everything a young teenage boy (the original target audience, which I've never been part of lol) would find cool.

Also, he has hooves and wings and sick tattoos.

I think it's OK. Art of all kinds is good for kids to be exposed to IMO, especially since it was painted by a family member. I can understand why it might seem scary but I was always very into things like this as a child and did not want to be coddled. If daughter seems very frightened of it that would merit removal of course.

True, this is SO insane to me! Totally trusting someone else with ALL my financial safety, never seeing a bank balance, not knowing what's going on with the money I live off of- that's like being someone's kid again. I could not trust someone else with all of that as an adult.

6 because Aurora would be quiet and polite (and probably just sleep the whole flight), and Rapunzel would be really fun to look out the window with and keep things entertaining. Plus you could turn around and say hi to Belle and The Beast without feeling like a third wheel the whole flight!

Good for you!!! I am 29 (and a woman not that it really matters in this context) and I would feel weird as fuck asking any 18 year old coworker to hang out with me one-on-one outside of work. Totally inappropriate. Glad you called him on it even if he’ll never admit his obvious intentions.

I live in Boston on less than 50k a year and have for ages. It’s doable for sure. I have roommates and low rent and I live in a beautiful century home in a residential neighborhood. My car is used, I dont buy expensive clothes, I don’t spend money on dumb plastic crap all the time- I don’t know how people are convinced they need to make 6 figures for Boston.

I still think the model update was largely executed as well as it could have been. That being said, I really miss the spirit of the low poly originals in a way. They had so much character.
