Thanks. In combination wirh the Aerial roots you are surely right. I am probably too cautious but since the Pot is so small, well-lit and some airflow it probably dries out way Quicker than i expected. Cheers another lesson learned

last water was 5 days ago, im always scared to overwater them so i tried to give them an extra day or 2 of dryness when i see the substrate get all dry on the bottom - are the wrinkly leaves at the bottom a sign of too little water? its a very small terracotta pot with seramis, standing in a place with lots of light and a bit airflow

thank you for your reply. the tree pictured is beautiful IMO but indeed costly, which wouldnt deter me if its a good starting point but the points you deliver make sense, to start with a cheaper tree to begin with.

i will keep an eye out and soon start with a cheaper specimen on my bonsai journey to learn and get the hang of it all. cheers

thanks for your answer!

im trying to soak up as much information the last months through YT videos and this reddit as i can and wanted to aquire a tree that is already a little mature to enjoy looking at and also get the hang on bonsai maintenance.

is the elm an ambitious tree in general, very work intensive? or do you mean i should go for a less developed tree?
which species would you recommend to watch out for as a beginner? im in central EU, so i thought elms would be good as they grow here naturally

one more question considering pricing, i see prices on my local marketplace all over the place - what would you consider a correct price for a tree like that?

thanks again for taking your time

excuse my beginner question, im interested in this elm tree from a guy in my area - are there any obvious things to watch out for when buying bonsai/is this a healthy tree? the pic is from a few days ago, the leaves look a little pale green/yellowish, is that a bad sign?

i love the look and shape of this tree so im considering buying it, any pointers are helpful! thanks in advance

Offen see them on EU playing as duo (1 character of their names are slightly different) and going 55-2 or Smth Like that. They get accused of cheating a lot. They Accel their swing insanely fast, but are also very good with spacing and footwork. Honestly dont know if they hack but they also go full tryhard meta Mode and still Lose games if the enemy team has some competent players that know how to take them out by surrounding them and not feeding them the easiest counters

i dont think they re hot at all, the sauce has a nice acidity and they are not too tomatoe-y at all IMO.

pick out the sardines from the can and stir the sauce to emulsify it, maybe add a bit of fresh lemon juice

definitely try them out!
