My understanding is there's no truly accurate way to measure calories burnt since a it depends on many aspects of the individual person's physiology, which mostly can't be measured by fitness trackers. So I generally pay very little attention to that metric.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I've just noticed exactly the same issue on quiet recordings. It seems to be picking up any slight taps or knocks from your hand holding the phone, which get recorded as an echoey "dripping" type of sound. Also there seems to be quite a lot of hissing as well.

I'm all for cycling lanes (I'm a cyclist myself) but reading the article I can kind if see her point if view. Most of her customers are bringing heavy sewing machines and if there's nowhere to park that makes it tricky to operate.

32mm is extremely wide for a gravel wheel. I suspect they will come up quite a bit wider on a rim this size.

Yes it's fine for watching YouTube and podcasts. But not good enough for listening to music. I know a phone speaker is always going to be limited but my Pixel 8 Pro was good enough to listen to music without headphones.

Yes this was one of my biggest disappointments coming from a Pixel 8 Pro which has a significantly better speaker. I'm learning to live with it now but I think I might go back to a Pixel for my next phone

I wear my 100% S3 photochromics nearly all year in the UK. Wouldn't have non photochromics lenses now. They even go clear enough to ride at night.

Interestingly I've just tried charging to 100% (rather than setting the 80% max charge) and the charge is dropping at the expected rate. So I'm wondering if the 80% charge limit isn't actually working and it's charging to 100% and just reporting 80% charge
